𝖨 𝖧𝖺𝗍𝖾 𝗎 ❤︎︎ 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐜 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐮

𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐 - 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧

❥ we arrived at Hectors house and we got out of the car, we walked into the back garden through the gate at the side, My mother, Hectors mother, Marcs mother and Tess's mother have been best friends for their entire lives.

Hectors mother Marianna ran over to us and hugged us all. She was such a sweet person, after she greeted us we walked over to the garden table where we would all be eating later, the weather was beautiful, the sun was shining, we were the first people there, next was Tessa's parents...and then there was the Guiu's, I had no idea how such a loving mother could have such a mean son, we hated each other with a burning passion.

As soon as Marc seen me his eyes widened, he didn't know that I was back and neither did Hector, so once he was finally dressed, he came downstairs and hugged Tessa, and hugged me so tightly, Hector brought me, Tessa and Marc to the outdoor couches in the far corner of the garden, away from the parents,

I sat down beside Tess and awkwardly glanced over at Marc

"i'm still in complete shock Ella!"

Hector said throwing his hands in the air smiling and looking at Marc who was just looking at me with a straight face

I sit with my hands on my knees and look over at Marc and stand up and walk into Hector's kitchen to refill my drink, i see Hector and Tess chatting away from the kitchen window but I notice Marc was gone, i turn around to walk out but I see Marc walk in and walk towards me

"hey"
he says making eye contact with me,
"hi"
i say back quietly

there was awkward silence before he starts talking
     

"you've changed..a lot"
he said looking me up and down

i fold my arms
"thanks i guess"
i say with a confused look on my face

"in a good way though"
he muttered

"you look good"
i said back dryly

"Ella, im just gonna cut to the chase here, i was a dick before you left, i apologise for treating you the way i did"
he replied almost cutting me off

I look down

" im sorry for making those rumors about you and saying those things i should have never said"

"to be completely honest, i was only talking to you like that because I wanted those guys to like me"
he said looking out of the window

"i forgive you"
we both say in unison

we laugh and share a quick hug

"i missed you so much"
he whispered

i smiled and once I had finished refilling my drink we walk back outside to find that the food was finally cooked and everyone was starting to take their seats.
I sit in between Tessa and Marc's mother, the adults sat at the top of the table and all chatted and ate and the rest of us sat down the bottom and had our own conversation.

By the time everyone was done, our mothers were drinking and dancing away to music and our fathers were watching the football on the outdoor tv under the gazebo, the rest of us slumped down on Hector's bed and ate some cake that Hector's mother had baked,

"oh my god I missed this cake"
i say with my mouth full of cake

the rest of them laughed and soon the four of us fell asleep on hector's bed like the old days.
our parents came upstairs as they were leaving to take us home, but seen us all fast asleep and didn't have the hearts to wake us up so they let us have a sleepover.

I slept happily knowing I was home, with my bestest friends, I was safe and I had finally made amends with Marc.
