Despite how objectively good your shift has been going, it's defeatedly that you tap out for your last break of the night - your steadily-amassing pile of tips and enjoyable interactions with customers dulled lightly by the having seen only once tonight the one face that always manages to brighten your nights here - but your mood is quickly redeemed when you step out into the blissfully cool air of the back alleyway, and find her leaned against the wall hanging up her phone at the same moment her eyes land on you.

"So do you spend your hard-earned breaks checking on all your patrons, or am I just that special?" The flicker of her eyes from yours to your lips and back up isn't lost on you, and neither is the grin that spreads across her face as her hand finds purchase in the curve of your hip in the darkness. "Well, why don't you tell me if it is and we'll find out for ourselves?"
