The Humans of Notra Dame

Chapter 13

"We did it, Mom! We beat them back!" Chris cheered, telling his mom what they accomplished. Peter said, "Yeah! We showed those bastards who is the boss! You've got to come and see." They noticed Lois was just sitting on the chair, staring at Angel with her sad face.

The Griffin family walks up to Lois, feeling awfully worried. Brian asked, "Lois, what's wrong?" Lois turns to her family with tears keeps running down her cheeks. The family stares, worrying something is terribly wrong. Meg asked, "Mom, is Angel okay?" Lois cried, "I'm sorry. I waited and waited for Angel to open his eyes, but he hasn't waking up. I...I hate to say it, but, he's dead...again."

The family gasped. Peter said, "But, he's a sinner. He'll get reborn and come to back here. Right?" Lois disagreed, "No. Peter, that fire is a part angelic. That smoke went into his lungs. Don't you see? Once angelic kills you, you won't get revive and get put back here. You'll be gone, permanently." The Griffins couldn't even believe it. They couldn't lose their friend like that.

Meg's tears came running down and sobbed, "No. No! No! Angel, please wake up! Come back! Don't leave us!" She sobbing on Angel's body as the family bowed down sadly.

The Vees walks in the chamber. Not looking up, but knows who it was, Peter whispered, "You killed him." Vox said, "It's our duty. I know how horrible it was." Valentino face Meg who is still sobbing on Angel. "There, there, Meg. I know it hurts. But not to worry. I will put the end of your suffering..." With the Griffin family having their heads down, he pulls out his gun and aims at her head.

Meg opens her eyes and noticed something in the mirror in front of her. She sees Valentino is pointing his gun. "...forever." Realizing what he's doing, she turned around and screams.

Valentino makes a shot, but he missed because of Peter shoved him. Valentino was about to make a gun point on Peter's head, but he pushed the moth demon to the other Vees, knocking them down.

Lois yelled, "You monsters! You three are also trying to kill us!" Vox snarled, "Now listen here. You're forgetting who owns your souls, bitch." The Vees summons their chains to wrap around the Griffin family's wrists and pulls then towards the demons.

Not letting the chains stop them, Peter said, " We know. But you shut the fuck up, Vox. From now on, you three just shut up and listen! All of our lives, you told me and my family that the world is nothing but a dark cruel place! But now I realize that the only thing that is so cruel are the people like you!" Lois said, "And there is the last thing that we haven't say to you three in years. Fuck you, Vees!" The Vees growls and ready to backslap them.

"Peter... Lois... Chris... Meg... Stewie... Brian..." A weak raspy voice said causes everyone to turn their attention to someone. Angel was starting to wake up slowly. Meg said relieved, "Angel, you're alive." Lois said, "Thank God. We thought you were dead." Stewie disbelieved, "We? You thought that he was dead and you made us believe it."

"He's lives?" Valentino growled and pulls out another gun. "No!" Chris cried. He pushed Valentino down, making him and the two Vees to lose the power of their chains. Brian yelled, "Run!" Peter picks up Angel and the Griffins ran out.

The Vees chase after the family, but lost them. They looked around the tower for any signs of the Griffins or Angel. Only to found nothing. Remembering where else they could be hiding, the demon overlords walks up to the ledge and found the Griffins and Angel, holding on the stone gargoyle, with the whole ground around the Notre Dame covered with molten lava below them.

"Leaving so soon, bitches? The party has just started." Velvette said before she, Vox, and Valentino starts attacking the humans and Angel. "Everyone! Look! Up there!" One of the demons called out while pointing at the tower. Everyone else stopped fighting too and see the humans and the overlords fighting.

"Hang on!" Peter shouted as he and his family swung over to the next gargoyle and the next while Angel holding on to Peter with the Vees attacking them with powers and weapons. They reached to the other ledge, only for the Vees attack and Brian pushed Angel, but was saved by the gargoyle stone.

Valentino said, "I shouldn't known you mortals will risk your lives to save that whore bitch! Just like both of your mothers died when they were trying to save both of you." Realizing what the overlords has done, Lois whispered, "It was you!" Peter yelled, "You did it! You killed our moms and lied about that they abandoned us!" "That's right. And now, me, Val, and Velvette are about to do what we should have done 40 years ago!" Vox admitted before threw a big cloth to cover both Lois and Peter's faces. And Velvette and Valentino did the same with the kids and Brian.

The Vees pulls them off the ledge, but only for them to grab on in time and grabbed on the cloth to pull themselves up, but that dragged the Vees down. Vox and Velvette falls to their death, but only Valentino survives and hold on to the cloth.

The Griffin family are hold on to each other while Peter is holding on the ledge, couldn't hold on any longer. Angel grabbed Peter's hand and struggling to pull him and the family up. "Hold on! Hold on!" Angel shouted.

Valentino reached to grab the other gargoyle, only to lost another gun. But not the end of him, he climbs up to stand on it while pulling out his sword. Angel looked to his left and stares in horror that Valentino is ready for the kill.

"And he shall smite the wicked and plunge them into the fiery pit!" Valentino yelled while raising his sword up and about to slice Angel's head off for him and the Griffins to fall down to their death. Unfortunately for Val, he lost his balance and fall, but just before he grabs on the gargoyle. The stone gargoyle glows its mouth and eyes and roars. Valentino screams as he falls down into angelic molten lava, killing him completely.
