The hustle and bustle of New York City reminded Damien a lot of Seoul.

He climbed off the train, his bag on his shoulder. The subway was filled with people getting off. Damien shifted his bag on his shoulder, mixing in with the crowd. Damien hoped that he blended in, he had already seen his face on the news. There wasn't a lot of time left to leave the country. Damien wanted to see Han one last night before they both went their separate ways. He just hoped that Han hadn't seen the news yet.

Damien pulled the baseball cap further down his head and readjusted the mask.

This wasn't Damien's first time in New York City, his grandparents had taken him and Eun Chae there several times over the years for vacations. But this was his first time alone.

Damien walked through Grand Central, just following the mass of people who were leaving the station.

Now, Damien knew that he hadn't ditched the suits that were following him across the country. He knew that he was being followed, Damien just hoped that ditching his phone in Chicago would distract them for a few more days. There was only so much that Damien could do before he was caught or fled the country. He hoped to flee the country before the feds realized he was gone.

The feds were most likely pegging for Damien to leave the country – but Damien was three steps ahead of them. He already had a fake passport that he planned on using, with completely different details than Damien had ever used before. He specifically asked for a passport without a single detail that made him Damien Noh. The only thing was his picture.

Damien stepped out into the sun, looking up and down the street. He wasn't entirely sure where Han would be, but he knew one way of finding out. Han had mentioned that he liked to check out the racing scene of every place he stopped at. Damien knew that Han would be at a New York race, something that Damien could only image how difficult it was.

Damien was excited to find out. Although he wouldn't be getting behind the wheel any time soon, he needed to stay out of the limelight for a little while. Once he got out of the country, he'd get back into street racing.

Right now, he just wanted to find Han and hope for the best.

Damien made his decision, heading to the right. It was time for Damien to live a little.

⁂

Han enjoyed his time in New York. He had only stepped foot in New York when he first fled. After spending time there, he realized that he didn't really like the racing scene. Han could be reckless at times, but the street racing just wasn't for him. It was fun to watch but he'd never actually get behind the wheel in a situation like that. The drivers in New York were too reckless for his liking. It wasn't pretty how damaged the cars came back from the race.
