𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐨"Welcome to Mexico," Damien Noh said as he approached with the team. The guys behind him were carrying large boxes of heroin to load them into the four drivers' trunks. Damien looked at the tablet, "Everything's been accorded for, and you had no trouble getting out here, correct?" Damien asked the driver.
"When have I ever?" He asked.
Damien shot him a look before looking back at the tablet. "Well, it looks like everyone is here." Damien looked at the drivers, seeing the new driver. Damien had to miss out on the race for the newest driver. He had to stay back in Mexico to make sure that the drugs arrived safetly and accounted for. Braga asked him to stay in Mexico after the last shipment.
Damien did as Braga said.
Four years of Damien in the cartel, he still followed Braga's every word. Braga wouldn't say it out loud to the others, but Damien was his second-in-command. The others all heard Braga say Fenix Calderon was his second, but it was Damien. When Damien first became a driver for Braga, it was just as simple as that. He had the GPS and every time that GPS told him where to go, he went, no questions asked.
When other drivers were killed, Damien remained. That went on for a good four months until Damien found out the truth. Damien impressed Braga that night, Braga watched the end of the race with his own two eyes, under the gaze of Campos. Damien hid the fact that he was working for the FBI extremely well that not even Braga realized.
That was four years ago. Since then, Damien went rogue, cutting off all communication with the FBI and even destroyed the phone that he meant to use to update them on what was happening with Braga. Damien just found it to be too much fun to worry about the FBI, even if that nulled his deal. It didn't bother Damien that he ditched the FBI, leaving them high and dry. It wasn't like Damien hadn't planned that or anything.
Damien stopped in front of the new driver. "You're new."
"Letty." Damien nodded. "Letty Toretto." Damien looked at the list of drivers, nodding his head again.
Damien went to say something when Dwight Mueller draped his arm over Damien's shoulder. "What up, dude?"
"Touch me again and I will put a bullet through your skull." Damien said, staring directly at Letty. Dwight instantly removed his arm from Damien's shoulders, going back to where his car was. Damien inhaled deeply – when Dwight fucking won, Damien was in disbelief. He honestly hoped that Braga reconsidered but Dwight had been slicking around for a lot longer than Damien assumed he would. Braga didn't suspect that any of these guys were informants to the FBI, at least not yet. Damien knew the day would come with Braga pegged one of them to be involved with the FBI.
"Alright then, welcome Letty, let's hope you last longer than the last guy. As a refresher, there are helicopters and surveillance cameras that scan for heat signatures at the border. There are blind spots, which, yours truly, will guide you through via satellite." Damien explained, still directly staring at Letty Toretto. "There can be no error," Damien's eyes flicked over at Dwight and one of the other drivers who were known to go rogue against Damien's words.
