(The team is in Greys office after Angela and Jackson were taken)
Lucy- We got the security footage of Lopez and Jackson being taken
*They see Lopez get shoved in the van and seconds later watch as one of their best friends gets shot in the back and shoved into the trunk of a car*
Lucy- *gasps* No- *she reaches for John*
*Everyone stares in shock at the screen trying to process what they just saw*
Lucy turns towards John and they join in a short hug before Lucy breaks down and runs out of the room
John- i've got her!
Nyla- no, she ran into the locker room i've got her.
*Nyla goes after her, she reaches the locker room and sees Lucy curled up against the wall sobbing into her knees*
Nyla- come here Luce *she pulls her into a hug and holds her tight as Lucy cries into her chest*
Lucy- i-i c-can't believe h-he's g-g-gone *she says in between sobs*
Nyla- I know sweetie, i know. Come on let's get you up and go grab some water
*They get up and walk to the break room where the rest of the team follows*
Tim- come here Lucy *he opens his arms for her*
Lucy- *joins him in a hug* We have to get her back.
Grey- we will. We won't lose another of our own.
(Fast Forward to Angela and Wesley getting off the helicopter)
*Lucy is waiting for them at the hospital vet impatiently, but it's all she can do to stay away from her apartment*
Tim- Lucy!
*Lucy turns to see Angela walking behind him and runs to her, hugging her tightly*
Lucy- i'm so glad you're ok
Angela- yeah *she hugs Lucy back* i'm ok Luce, i heard you were our eyes. Thank you *she smiles*
Lucy- it's the least i could do since i couldn't go with them
Angela- what do you mean? why couldn't you? are you ok?
Lucy- um... *she looks towards the group and sees their defeated faces and realizes nobody's told her*
Angela- you're scaring me, what's going on?
Lucy- i'll tell you everything *a tear falls* but first you guys should get checked out
Wesley- come on baby let's go
*They walk towards the front desk to get signed in and Lucy joins the group*
Lucy- nobody told her!?
Tim- i didn't want to add more stress... it's been a long day
Lucy- don't you think she'd notice he wasn't here... *she looks at the floor* they he'll never be here again
Tim- we also thought... *he looks at Nyla and then back at Lucy* that it would be better hearing it from you... since you and Jackson were so close.
Nyla- You were his best friend and roommate, you knew him best and he was kind of the bridge to you and Lopez. We figured it would go better if she found out from you. Sorry...
Lucy- no it's ok- i understand.
Tim- you don't have to if you don't feel up to it, we totally understand
Lucy- no I'll do it. You're right it would probably be best from me. Just let me go up there alone... please
Tim- of course, we should get going, let me know if you need anything. And Lucy i mean it, anything at all ok?
Lucy- ok *she smiles* thank you
