*about an hour later Lucy gets a text from Angela saying they're set up in a room for now and she can come up*
Lucy- hey, how are you doing?
Angela- as good as i can be for getting kidnapped by a major criminal
Lucy- i feel you there
Angela- you were gonna tell me something earlier... what was it?
*Lucy looks over at Wesley*
Wesley- i'll give you guys some space
*he leaves and Lucy takes his seat on the bed*
Lucy- so we found security footage of you and Jackson being taken from the venue
Angela- and? did you see where they took him?
Lucy- We saw them drive away with you... but Jackson fought the guy
Angela- wait...
Lucy- *blinks back tears* And they shot him-
Angela- but you found him right... *she asks on the brink of tears*
Lucy- they shoved his body into the trunk and drove off... hes gone Ange... Jackson's gone *the tears start falling*
*Angela starts crying and Lucy pulls her in for a hug*
Angela- no No NO! it wasn't supposed to be like this *she sobs*
Lucy- i know, it isn't fair... he didn't deserve this.
Angela- he promised to look after my baby... in the hospital he promised to personally keep watch. Now he can't... my baby boy won't know him now. *she looks up at Lucy and sees her crying harder*
Lucy- i promise, i know i'm not Jackson but i won't let her out of my sight until you're discharged.
Angela- thanks Luce *she sniffles and smiles at her*
Lucy- of course, we all have a lot to live up to. For Jackson.
Angela- *they share a short hug again*
Doctor- Ms Lopez you're free to go.
Angela- great! can't wait to go home.
*Lucy thinks about going home to the apartment and starts crying knowing he'll never be there again*
Angela- Luce what's wrong?
Lucy- I can't go back to the apartment... seeing his empty room.
Angela- you don't have to. You're staying with me and Wesley
Lucy- i don't want to intrude
Angela- no you shouldn't be alone right now. and... I want you with me. Please.
Lucy- thanks Ange
