CARLOS POV

I had been watching them the whole day. He brushed her hair out of her face in the garage before kissing her palm. She had blushed, and it had looked real. I had seen the footage of her in the garage, her eyes lit up when he pushed forward and her shoulders fell when he lost a position.

Now I stood in the audience watching her perform two songs that were obviously for Charles, and my heart ached. I felt stupid because it shouldn't matter to me that much. I shouldn't be so bothered that they were...whatever they were. Partly because Charles deserved this, he deserved to be happy and in a relationship that wasn't affecting him in a bad way, the other part was the fact that I had met Cami all of two months ago. But since then she had captivated my every thought, and I didn't know how to describe it but there was a part of me that wanted her more than anything. I felt possessive of her, and it felt belittling of me but I couldn't help it. When I watched on the stage all I wanted was to run up on stage and kiss her fiercely. Tell her everything that I had wanted to for the two months we had known each other, it sounded insane but...

"Gracias a todos por estar aquí!" She says into the microphone, her pronunciation made me laugh but she tried her best. "I hope you all enjoyed, thank you again to Ferrari for having me today!" Her eyes scan the crowd as she smiles, our eyes meet and she freezes. "Congratulations on the home race, Carlos." She says so quietly into the mic I almost miss it, but the crowd doesn't. The roar is louder then than it was for her performance to Charles. The camera that had been watching her almost as intently as I had panned to me, and I forced a smile and sent her a wink. Her cheeks flush, and the red reaches her ears as she blows a kiss, to me or the crowd before leaving. Charles turns to me, and a smile dances in his eyes.

"So?" He asks and I narrow my eyes.

"What?" I call and he doesn't say anything as he shakes his head and looks away.

"Nothing," He says, still smiling. "Absolutely nothing, Carlos." He says, patting me on the shoulder before directing us out of the concert.

CAMI POV

"Wow, good job guys," Marianne says as leaves the stage. The flush in my cheeks is still there, looking at Charles had caused me to blush but the intense way that Carlos had looked at me was exactly that. Intense. He had given me a full-body flush and every part of me felt like it was overheating.

"Yeah...um. Good job-sorry." I say, excusing myself to the exit where I can see people leaving. I scan for the two Ferrari boys but I don't catch sight of either of them. I wanted to tell Carlos that what was happening wasn't real and that- Well, I didn't know what.

I continue to look through the crowd, trying, hoping that I'll see them.

It's been 3 minutes and still no sight. I sigh and turn around back to Marianne.

"Cami!" I hear a voice call and I turn to see Charles trying to get my attention in the middle of the crowd.

I smile and send him a wave, going to turn back. "Wait there!" He calls and my flush disappears a little as I stand there waiting, hoping that the other Ferrari boy would turn to me. I feel kind of awkward but I stand waiting anyway. He meets the security guards at the bottom of the steps and tries to cut through them but they block him. I can hear a fast argument in a language I don't know, Charles doing all sorts of gestures before pointing at me and the security guards look over their shoulders, I wave. What seems to be begrudgingly they let Charlie pass and I spot Carlos in the crowd, who had his teeth gritted. When I met his gaze he smiled and sent me a small wink before turning away. My heart sinks as I watch him disappear into the crowd.

"Hey, Charles," I say, noticing the paparazzi who had noticed his running to me and had begun taking photos. I force a smile as I look at him.

"Milla, Je sais que tu veux Carlos, mais je dois te parler." He murmurs, saying it quietly so no most eavesdroppers can catch it. He directs me back to my changing room, which isn't very big.

"Je ne veux pas de Carlos!" I hiss and he laughs as he sits opposite me.

"You certainly got a reaction from those songs, Milla." He says as he looks at me and I shrug.

"Yes, but it was good. Very good, Marianne told me it looked believable and that's all that matters.."I pause. "How is- uh- Carlos?" I ask, trying to prove Charles wrong and he lets out a loud laugh. "What?" I ask, switching to English.

He laughs harder, his laugh so loud that the guards turn. "Can you guys just get together and move on. I hate this back and forth." He says and I furrow my eyes.

"No! He isn't- we're not." I say and he laughs and I stay quiet. "Where is he?" I ask quietly.

Charles stops laughing and looks at me, seriously. "He's at this hotel here," he says holdings out a sort of business card with a house name and number on it.  "He's staying with his family, so he prepared." He pauses. "You deserve someone that is good for you, okay? Don't hold back for the media's sake." Charlie says, holding my hands.

I nod. "I don't know what's happening with us-him." I correct, there isn't a us.

Charles smiles. "Either way, be nice to him. He doesn't mean it the way you think." He says before turning away.

I mull over what he's saying, shaking my head slightly as I turn to Marianne. "I'm heading to my apartment okay, i'll see you all later." I cough, and Mez sees it.

She squeezes my hand, "Go get that dick girl." She whispers and I snort pushing her away.

"Mez! It's not-" I start but she smirks.

"I've seen those Ferrari boys, it's okay. I get it." She shoots me a wink before leaving.
