I went to a different coffee shop just to satisfy my needs.

I sat down outside the shop and watched the passersby as I sip my coffee and my mind was flying over somewhere.

The greeneries, falls, and even the sky adds up to the beauty of the country, syempre kasi ito nga ang dahilan kung bakit pangarap ito ng marami.

He's married. I haven't thought about it through the years. And he has a kid.

I gulped the lump in my throat. What am I even thinking? Of course, nakapag moved on na iyong tao, that was almost a decade ago!

I tightly closed my eyes and leaned on the backrest. Please, he's married already. Stop thinking about him, it feels so illegal - it feels like I'm a desperate mistress from thinking like that. Ano ngayon kung may asawa na siya? That's his life.

The opportunity to achieve success in my career and become so established feels surreal, but not ending up with him was the ultimate cost.

Hindi ako matigil kakaisip ng what if's. What if I didn't push him away? What if I listened to him instead of bursting out?

I snapped back to reality when a man sat in front of me. Bumungad sa akin ang seryosong si Brayan. He was wearing a leather brown jacket and a white inner shirt partnered with a neutral color down.

Damn him, ang galing magtago! Magpinsan nga sila!

But before I could even do that, he held my wrist to stop me.

"I'm here to explain, I'm sorry."

"No need," I spat, all done with it. "Alam ko na." Sumandal ulit ako sa inuupuan.

He arched a brow.

"Nakapag-usap na kayo? " Mahinahon niyang tanong.

Mabilis na kumunot ang noo ko. "Why would I?" Sarkastiko kong sagot na ikinatigil niya.

"Anong nalaman mo?" He asked carefully, naninimbang ang titig sa akin.

"Basta," Nag-iwas ako ng tingin. "Umalis ka na, nanggigigil ako sa'yo." Bugaw ko sa kanya.

He chuckled in disbelief and shook his head. "I'm here to explain my side. Hindi ako narito para sa side niya, he has the right to explain it all to you. But I have part of your separation kaya hihintayin kong mauna siyang magpaliwanag sayo bago kita kausapin ulit." He smiled.

"I hope you forgive me. . . in advance." The Brayan I knew was playful and sarcastic damned man. He became composed and serious about almost everything. I couldn't look at him because I would remember Eron. They looked almost the same.

"I'll take my leave, then. " Ngiti niya. "Enjoy the country." He stood and left with his hands on his pocket.

When my gaze flew to the sit he left. I saw a business card on his table. I didn't know he studied law? His number was indicated. My forehead creased. Pinulot ko iyon at binasa.
