Chandralekha POV

Bhagwati knows what the pact is, and why my husband's face looks so dull after his return from the cave. I cannot face the Queen of Vijaygarh because her attire would hurt me deeply, something that isn't good for my womb.

Raghav informed me about the marriage pact that Maharaj Shauryaditya had put forth before him, and how he agreed to it after his demise. Also, I'm glad to know the abilities of those princes at such a tender age.

Raghav was introduced to the burnt warrior by Prince Indrajeet, and he smiled widely observing this new man. The war has already begun, with no prior notice because this is Yuddhjeet fights.

As Raghav arrived, we were attacked by the armies dressed in all black, even the helmets are black, so dark that we cannot even look at their faces. Their eyes are red. The women were escorted to the tents safely, with a small group of men guarding us by staying with us.

May Devi bless my husband and his men with victory.

Raghav POV

With the hereditary sword in my hand, I stood firm in the battlefield. Yuddhjeet was here today, but quite far from us. He must be scared to face me alone because he knows what I'm capable of.

The burnt warrior standing by my side is none other than Ranveer. Like always, he changed his personality, and this time it's so accurate that even I took a few moments to decipher who he is, but I didn't reveal it to him, letting him play with me.

Indrajeet is managing the northern front perfectly, fighting with his army over there, encouraging them every now and then. He has changed now, opposite to what he was earlier. He is strong and savage now.

Ranveer was handling the southern front, with a group of men that I had allotted to fight with him, under his command. We couldn't get the people of Vijaygarh to fight with us, because they are all dead. The army that is fighting for Yuddhjeet right now is the army of the dead.

With just one thousand men on my side, we were countering them very well. The clouds were shaped as the Goddess mounting over the lion, signifying that it was Her strength that fought from my side, and not my men.

The battle continued for three days, and I couldn't even touch all this while. My body had twelve to fifteen small and big cuts by now. My target was only Yuddhjeet on the fourth day, so I anchored my focus on him, and now I stood before him, with my sword held high, pointing at him.

He smirked at my condition. I pulled the ropes tied around the nose of my horse, and commanded him to run to him. He ran with his full strength, but the moment I was about to touch him, a huge hole appeared on the ground and fell terribly in it.

It was like free fall, with no gravity acting on me for a few minutes until I landed on a hard sticky surface, with complete darkness all around me. I was breathing heavily now, since I had no idea of what was happening to me.

I looked around, but couldn't find anything.

"CHANDANIIII!"

I screamed, but nothing was heard by me. Goddess knows where I've come all of a sudden. I was so confused that I didn't realise who should I call upon

"MAAAAAAAA!"

I shrieked again, and a faded sound invaded my ears. It creeped into my ear like a snake

"To your right!"

The voice was feminine, but I didn't know who she was. I had no option than simply following her instructions so I did so, and began walking to my right. Gradually my sword started emanating some light, and now I could the path on which I was walking. I was a well maintained road, but where was it taking me to?
