(authors point of view)
As a young child Alexis Sánchez didn't live such a great life. He was born in Tocopilla, Chile. The City he lived in wasn't a very good place. Especially for children like him. People there did drugs, stole, committed very horrible crimes, etc. At a very very young age, young Sánchez knew what he strived for in life. Fútbol. He would play with kids older than him, and they played rough, at times Sánchez would get badly hurt in the shins, because he didn't have enough money to afford shin guards. He still played with them and as he progressed all the kids from Tocopilla would come watch young Sánchez play. One day he decided he wanted to join a team to become better than he was, his mom couldn't afford it so he decided to work in the mines to pay for all the soccer materials. As time passed he became so good, he would come home and tell his mom "don't worry mom, someday I'll become a professional soccer player and I'll buy us a big house and we'll have a good life." his mom would look up at him, sadness in her eyes and smile.
because they were going to move up to Santiago, Chile.
