Author's Pov
During the function, Hayat enjoyed herself a lot. She even prepared a dance with Reema, and they both danced beautifully. There was a separate gathering for males and females, so they were able to dance; otherwise, it would not have been possible.
After dancing, she went to get a soft drink. She was walking while adjusting her dupatta when she suddenly collided with something hard. As she looked up, her brown eyes met a pair of black ones. She said angrily, "Ouch! Can't you see? I was coming through, and you just stood there like a pole. Move out of the way!"
He responded, "Ulta chor kotwal ko daante..."
He was completing his sentence when Hayat's father, Sulaiman Sahab, and the other man's parents appeared.
"Oh, you both have already met," Sulaiman Sahab said to both of them. "Hayat, meet him. He is my friend Ghufran's son, Derek. He has just returned from abroad and will be helping his father with the business and
Derek meet my daughter Hayat".
Hayat looked dumbfounded. Suddenly, tears appeared in her eyes, but she managed to hold them back. With great difficulty, she greeted Mr. and Mrs. Ghufran, then excused herself and went to her house. She was crying a lot when suddenly a thought struck her. She took out her phone and started calling her Phupho in Malaysia. The phone rang, but no one picked up. She dialed the number again and waited. On the third ring, she heard the voice she longed to hear. It was none other than Murat Sarsilmaz. She never expected it to be his number or that he would answer the call.
"Hello, who is this?" he said sternly.
"This is Hayat," she replied timidly.
"Who's Hayat?" Upon hearing these words, her heart shattered into many pieces, but she managed to say, "Rahila Phupho's niece, Hayat Sulaiman. I wanted to know if Phupho is coming to Suhail Bhai's wedding," she asked confidently this time.
"Ammi is not here at the moment. She has gone to the market, and no, we are not coming to attend the wedding," he said before cutting the call.
For some time, she just stared at the phone. The only thing she could think at that moment was how mean he was. It seemed like he didn't even know who Hayat was or what she meant to him.

Hayat's Pov
Today, I have to visit my college for some paperwork. Finally, I persuade my father, who is initially denying it. I ask him to give me some time so I can talk to my aunt (phupho) and ask her what they want and their final decision. I wear a long kurta with jeans, do light makeup, and head out. Firstly, I go to college and complete the necessary tasks.
On my way back home, I encounter heavy traffic, and I find myself waiting at a red light for the signal to turn green.Suddenly, I notice Rano, but today he isn't alone; someone is with him.
They approach my car, and the other person, named Pinky, says, "Hey, sister, my name is Pinky. Remember, Rano here? You threw slush on his face last time, remember?" Irritated, I respond, "Enough! This is crossing the line. Go away; you're just bothering me." I literally scream on his face.
However, they persist. Pinky insists, "Sister, listen, Rano likes you, he's just shy," while Rano stands there with a shy smile. I am utterly frustrated, wondering who they are.Without hesitation, Pinky places his hand on the window. Fed up, I try to close the window forcefully,
"Look Mr i'm telling u leave otherwise u'll see the consequences", he still didn't remove hands so i just closed the window injuring his hand in the process. Rano gives me a death glare, but I pay no attention and drive away, reaching my house. As I am entering, I receive a message from Reema, asking me to come over to her place.Upon arrival, I find Reema crying continuously. She shows me a video that leaves me utterly shocked.
