Unseen Shadows

Derek took her with him in an isolated place where no one was present. Hayat turned towards Derek, but he seemed like someone else entirely. She could clearly see the lust in his eyes.

"Derek, I want to go back," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.

"Why are you in such a hurry? Let's enjoy ourselves first, baby." He reached for her hand, but she pushed him away and scrambled out of the car.

She ran, screaming, but no one was around to hear her.

Suddenly, with a swift motion, Derek grabbed her hair and pulled her dupatta off her shoulders as she struggled against him.

The sound of a frying pan hitting a skull echoed in the air. It was Rano, who had struck Derek on the head, rendering him unconscious.

Hayat stood in shock, not afraid of Rano today nor irritated by him. Instead, she felt grateful that he had saved her.

Rano looked at her with bloodshot eyes. He removed his own dupatta and draped it over her shoulders.

"Behaya, behaya," Rano spat the words at her with disgust.

The accusation made Hayat feel ashamed. She wanted to explain to Rano that she wasn't behaya, that she had only come to talk and had no idea about Derek's intentions. But Rano grabbed her hand and dragged her back to the wedding venue.

Hayat didn't attend the wedding. Instead, she went home and cried the whole night.

Hayat never ever think that something like that could happen with her. She is quite tensed as she was entering her home she was shocked as her mother is crying sitting on the sofa whereas her father and brother are fuming in anger.

"As they see her they storm towards her.
I'm going to kill her dad", her says angrily.

She is shocked to hear her brothers word.

"Hayat u really disappoint us i have never expect this from u", her father says to her disappointedly.

"What I have done baba plz tell", she tries to speak while sobbing.

Her brother showed her ghe vedio in which she and Iram are dancing.
She is startled seeing the vedio and her brother calls her "behaya behaya".

"No I'm not I'm not" while crying these words she wakes up and realises it's a nightmare.

She mumbled go herself," what if anybody see that vedio no this can't be done". She composes herself and decided to meet major and file a complaint.

She is ready for going there she already called the major and he said he will sent the car to pick her and she reluctantly agreed.

Now she is waiting for car to came and took her.

Suddenly a car came and stops in front of her she sits in her and they moved towards their destination.

All the way she was quite only thinking how to came out from the mess up that has been caused in her life.

The car halts in front of a building which she assumes to be the office.
She enters in it, there is a hall and at corner there presents stairs and lift there only few people are presents she have to go at 15th floor so she took the lift, as she reach the floor and entered the said room there she a glass wall and she can see that someone is present behind the wall but unable to see him properly.

Infront of the wall there is table and chair and a phone is present on table.
Suddenly the phone rings and the one who is behind the wall is also having the phone and dialing.

She picks up the phone and say "hello"
"Hello, Miss Hayat, This is Major Ahmad" he says professionally.

"As u asked me to come to file a complaint so I'm here now plz remove that vdo", she says to him.

"Miss Hayat I've already deleted that vdo from everywhere now there is no existence of it".

She is shocked hearing him, "but u said i've to file a complaint first if it's deleted then why u called me hear." She asked him.

"I've called u for my some personal reasons Miss Hayat I will take take ur much tym i only want confess u that i love u and want to marry u."

"How dare u to ask me something like that, do u know who I'm," She says controlling her anger.

"I know everything Hayat about u, and I really love u."

"Oh really is that so, if u know everything about me then why u fon't know that I'm already married, I have a husband and I'm going to him" now she totally bursts out.

"I know this but do u know why their family is not showing up u have no idea the secret they are hiding".

"So u are the one who sends those flowers and send Rano behind me u are doing all this."

"No u missunderstood Hayat, i haven't did any of the things."

"Shut up, if ever try to contact me by any means I'm going to kill u", by saying this she leaves the place.

Now she is relieved that the video has been deleted, but she can't shrug off Major's words, which made her think, "Why hadn't Phupho visited us even once?"

She is going to take her visa today. It's early morning. She reached the office at 6, and there was already a queue. She stood in the queue for 2 hours, finally got her visa, and left.

It's an empty road she is walking on. Suddenly, some goons appear in front of her. Trembling with fear, she says to herself, "Not again." As she tries to walk past them, one of them grabs her wrist. Before she can react, someone hits the man with a frying pan and beats everyone until they run away.

Hayat stands quietly, watching the scene before her. She has never felt as much love for anyone as she feels today for Rano, who has helped her again.

"Hayat baji, are you okay?" Rano's voice shows concern for Hayat.

She just nods her head and asks him, "How do you always show up wherever I go?"

"I don't know, ji, I just like you."

"Stop it, I know Major Ahmad asked you to follow me. Just stop."

"No, ji, who is he? I come to you on my own, not because someone tells me to."

Hayat's phone starts ringing, showing an unknown number. She picks up the call.

"Hello, who's this?"

"Hello, Major speaking, Hayat."

"I've already told you not to contact me, but you still did," she says through gritted teeth and cuts the call.

"Baji, are you going somewhere?" Rano asks her.

She thinks for a moment and then says, "Yes, I am going to America to be with my husband." Hearing this, Rano's face becomes pale.

"You are married?"

She nods her head and leaves.
