Prologue

In the space where Kaguya lived, a star did too.

The star was beautiful in every way. She had unbelievably shiny silver hair and her eyes shone as well, making everyone look at her.

But the star wanted to be something more. She wanted to create something. For everyone.

In the star's time time, Kaguya was merely a young toddler.

" Why?" Kaguya asked. "Why would you want to leave here? It's wonderful. Everyone loves you. "

The star smiled.

" Because it is my calling, young one. You will one day understand. "

So the star left her home, and settled some place else.

While travelling, she wished, with all her heart, to be something big, something important.

I want to be a safe haven for the world.

And so, the star made a deal with an entity, and became what she wished.

She became the one and only safe shelter for all.

One by one, star dusts came to the star who wasn't a star anymore. The start dusts came to be known as mankind.

The humans lived with the star who was not a star for eternity. As they grew old, they withered away. But new star dusts would come and replace them.

Nevertheless, no matter who they were or what they looked liked, the star who was not a star raised them with all her love.

Eventually, the humans questioned, "Who are you? What is your name?"

The name of the star who was not a star had long since been forgotten. It had been years since someone had called her by her name.

So, the star who was not a star responded, "My name has disappeared like the stars that has twinkled out. For now, my name shall be Gaia."
