"There are going tobe a few developments."

Hanako blinked. It hadn't been long since she was discharged from the hospital, but here she was, sitting in the living room beside Remi, with Aizawa sensei sitting across from her.

Remi clasped her hands and fidgeted under the table.

"What sort of developments?"

With the recent villain attacks and All Might's retirement, UA had come to a decision: Keeping the students close.

Hanako listened to her teacher's words intentively. To be honest, she had mixed feelings about it.

On one hand, maybe it would be better if she went along with it, cknsidering her...latest problem. On the other hand, she and Remi had finally made amends...if she left now—

"Will this keep Hanako safe? For real this time?" Remi interrupted her thoughts.

Hanako glanced at her under the table. It was a very subtle movement, but Remi's hand had trailed to her stomach...

Hanako tensed and clenched her fist.

Aizawa sensei answered with utmost sincerity, " I promise you, UA, including myself, will use the best of our ability to ensure no harm comes to your daughter."

The last two words warmed Hanako's broken heart, just a little.

The two adults then looked at her, waiting her final decision.

Hanako's mind went to the memory of what she had done and went to right after her discharge from the hospital.

"That boy and girl...they're quirkless, aren't they?"

"Ah yes, but that doesn't matter. I treat them with all the love and care that they deserve because they were born into this world."

Hanako took a breath before answering.

"I'll do it."

Hanako opened up the door to darkness.

She flinched.

Not again not again not again

She hurriedly found the light switch and clicked it. The room was lit and she could breathe again.

A bed was provided at the edge of the dorm and so was a desk and a wardrobe. Hanako stepped towards the windows and drew the curtains open.

Much better.

Hanako brought one suitcase one backpack and one small handbag. It was crazy to think that that was all she needed to store all her stuff.
