Epilogue

Ivy's plan has been successful.

They had taken a train from seoul to busan wich took about to hours to get there.

They slept peacefully before arriving at there destination.

As they finally got out the train station the stars were still filling up the dark sky as it was still very early in the morning.

Ivy had planned that they were going to stay at a cozy little hotel for a few days before they can rent an apartment and find a job.

After arriving in they're hotel room she bursted out crying letting all her emotions go.

She felt like something heavy just lifted off her shoulders, Taesan comforted her reassuring her that now everything was gonna be alright with him by her side.

Next day.

"Ivy I've been calling your name ten times now! You haven't eaten all day nor came out your room! Come out to eat dinner now!" Ivy's mother said while going up the stairs.

"Gosh why can't this child hear me? You've been extremely quiet today are you trying to show attitude again? I do not have the time for this, Ivy Miller come out your room now!" She shouted knocking on the door of Ivy's room.

After a while she noticed that the door wasn't gonna get opened any time soon if she didn't open it herself, so she quickly opened the door.

"Ivy!" She froze when she noticed the room was empty, a slightly cold air traveled through the room as she noticed the window was slightly opened.

"Is she- Where is Ivy?" Ivy's dad said peeking into Ivy's room as he was tired from waiting for her.

"I- I don't know, I think she snuck out but I don't know for how long." Her mom said panicking.

"I think we should call the police, it's night time what does she think she's doing?" Her dad replied in an angry tone.

"She can't be that far right? Oh gosh no wonder why she wasn't coming out at all, I should've checked on her." Ivy's mom said as tears were slowly building up.

After a while police arrived at there home.

"Don't worry Mr and Miss Miller we are going to do anything to find her, we're sure she won't be that far. But for safety reasons I'm going to have to investigate her room if this doesn't bother you of course." One of the officers said and Ivy's parents immediately let him.

The officer looked around her room but nothing was really out of place so he checked a little more.

He looked in the closet to see that there were only a few pieces of clothing left.

"Uhm did your daughter have a lot of clothes? Because there isn't a lot from what I see." Ivy's parents gave a confused look.

"No she had enough clothing, in fact she had a lot why would there be some of her clothes missing?" Ivy's mother said coming up to see the closet.

"What...why does it look so empty?" She said looking concerned as to why there was barely any clothes in there.

The officer then went to her bathroom and again some basic things were not here like, a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and other things like that.

The officer frowned at the sight of that before going back to Ivy's room and looking around again.

He noticed something that looked like a diary on Ivy's table, he got closer and took it to see it's content.

The first few pages were just some normal journaling but towards the end of it was something that would confirm his theory.

Dear diary

I am an adult now and I want my freedom.
Tonight my wishes will come true, well at least I hope so.
The house I once considered my comfort zone became the house I want to runaway from.
So now my story in this house ends here and my freedom is gonna start somewhere, somewhere I will be building my new home at, somewhere I will have my now comfort zone at.

Ivy Miller.

"I have found something." The officer said making Ivy's parents rush to him.

"Oh that is her diary! Is there any clues from where she could be?" The officer sighed before telling them.

"It seems like your daughter has decided to run away, I am sorry Mr and Miss Miller but we can't do anything since she is now an adult."

Her parents broke down crying after hearing the news, guilt filled there body as they realized they were the reason she ran away.

A few years later Ivy had found her home, her finally comfort zone.

She was now a grown women with a very stable life and she had married her now husband Taesan after he proposed to her.

She had also built a family after giving birth to adorable twins, a girl and a boy.

Her life was now at peace.

This story is now officially finished, thank you to everyone who supported my story this means a lot to me 🫶. I will be posting a new story but it won't come out till july since I am going to be busy with my exams.
Sorry for posting the epilogue so late I have been working rlly hard on my important exam coming up this Wednesday :(
