Michelangelo has always loved to play the double bass. And now he has a chance to show off his talent at the Manhattan jazz club at nightfall. But when Bebop and Rocksteady cause trouble again, will he make it in time?
-------------------------------------------------------------

Today started off as a normal day. Well, as normal as it can be when you're a teenage mutant ninja turtle. Michelangelo started his day as he normally would. Eat, train, and play double bass. He loved to play double bass, even more than he loved pizza. And that's saying something. He was jamming out when Raphael called him from the living room.

"Michelangelo, come on. April's waiting for us at channel 6." He said.

"Comming, bro." He packed away his double bass and made his way to the living room.

"Is everyone ready?" Donatello asked as he put on his disguise.

"Yes." The others called out.

"Great. Let's go." He said as they made their way to channel 6.

Once they got there, they met up with April and Irma.

"Guys, there you are." She said.

"Hey, April, hey Irma, what was the big announcement about.?" Leonardo asked.

"Well, there's a new jazz club that's opening tonight, and they want Michelangelo to play with the band tonight." Irma said.

"Really? Me? Totally bodacious!" He cheered." I always wanted to play in a band."

"Well, you better get ready. The club is opening tonight." April said.

"Well, I better get practising. See you dudes back at the lair." He sad as he ran out of the building.

"Welp. Should we go or stay?" Raphael asked.

"We should stay. You know Michelangelo doesn't like to be disturbed while he's practising." Leonardo answered.

"OK then. I'll order pizza." Donatello said as he picked up his turtle com.
-------------------------------------------------------------

Back at the lair, Michelangelo was practising his double bass in his room when his turtle com started to ring. It was Donatello.

"Michelangelo, come quick. Bebop and Rocksteady are at the Panetarium." He said through the turtle com.

"On my way, Donatello." He turned of he turtle com."Wow. A turtle can't just have
one night of, can he?" He said breaking the fourth wall. He packed his double bass away and made his way to the planetarium.

Sure enough,  Bebop and Rocksteady were destroying the planetarium.

"Yoo dudes. Can we do this another time. I really need to practice." He tried to compromise with them.

"Wow. The little turtle wants us to do it another time. Should we Bebop?" Rocksteady mocked.

"Nope let's keep smashing." Bebop answered.

"Well, have it your way." Raphael said before they went into combat.

Well I say into combat but Bebop and Rocksteady are kinda easy to beat. But anyway it took a good amount of time. So much so, the jazz club opens in an hour, and it's on the other side of town.

"Dudes, the club opens in an hour we gotta go, pronto!" Michelangelo panicked.

"On it Michelangelo." Donatello said as he put the pedal to the metal. They made it back to the lair to pick up Michelangelo's double bass and Master Splinter, then they went to pick up April and Irma. Now they were on the road with 20 mins left.

"Were not gonna make it compadres. Were toast." He wined.

"Oh no were not." Donatello said as he sped up the turtle van.

"Almost there." Leonardo said.

15 mins, 10 mins, 5mins, they made it.
They all ran out and piled into the club while Michelangelo made his way to the stage.

"Michelangelo, there you are. We thought you were a no show." The drummer said.

"Sorry dudes. Evil never takes a break. Let's get jazzing compadres." He said while he  settled up.

The announcer came on stage and quieted down the audience.

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Manhattan's first ever jazz club. To start of, we have a very special performance for you tonight. For their first ever gig, please welcome, the All Stars, featuring his first ever debut, teenage mutant ninja turtle, Michelangelo!"

The crowd erupted while the band got ready.

The Drummer counted them in and they started to play. It was the most chill song you could ever hear. Like one of those songs that tickles your brain. It was amazing, and Michelangelo really added the bass onto the song. When they were done, the crowd roared with cheering and clapping. After the show, he met up with his friends and family.

"That was amazing Michelangelo." April said.

"You were incredible." Irma added.

"I'm very proud of you my son."

"Thanks Master Splinter."

Just then, the band came over.

"That was amazing, Michelangelo." The guitarist said.

"You really have a way with the bass." The keyboard player added.

"Thanks Isaac, Harry."

"Say Michelangelo, how would you like to be part of the All Stars?" The singer asked.

"That would be totally bodacious. Thanks guys."

"Anytime." The drummer said.

"Hey, would you guys like to come with us to get pizza? The more the merrier." Leonardo said.

"We would love to." The keyboard player  said.

"Let's go." Raphael said.

Before they all went, Michelangelo went back on stage to said one more thing before they left.

"Thank you and goodnight everybody!"
