Another glorious day has arrived, and Y/n forces himself to get out of the comfy embrace of his sheets, an effort he thought he'd grown accustomed to by now. He was wrong. Staying awake for days took its toll on him, so much all it took was for him to drop in his bed and BAM! He was out cold.
But not everything was bad. The events of the previous night, the magic of that fleeting moment, the warmth of Amy's reciprocated feelings, the sensation of her lips in his. It all felt surreal... The sleepy boy's lips curve in a smile and a contended sigh escape them. He couldn't believe that just happened, and he couldn't be more happy it did.
He jumps out of bed with newfound excitement and proceeds to do his everyday morning rituals. After an invigorating bath, sporting a simple (F/C) shirt and dark blue jeans, he picks up the to-do list from the table, scanning the items that'll keep him occupied for the next twenty-eight days.
-Find a glowing mushroom cave, collect lots of them.
-Get better weaponry: enchanted sword, Amazon yoyo, etc...
-Get potions ingredients: cacti, maybe corals, gold/platinum, iron, etc...
-Embark into a long ass journey to try and find civilization, or other biomes.
-Build more houses.
-Kill E.O.C. (Maybe)The young hero's gaze linger at the last item, his brain creating images of the Eye of Cthulhu's in-person appearance. It shouldn't be hard to imagine a giant, monstrous eyeball with teeth, but his mind kept conjuring them, one more gruesome than the other. He didn't know if it would be possible to beat it, but he knew if he wanted a chance, then completing the other items were a must.
He shoved the list on his back pocket, left his room and saw Koneko, just coming out of her room, her hair slightly!easy with sleep.
"Good morning." She greeted.
"Morning, how was your sleep?" He asked.
"I slept well." She yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. Slowly, they went downstairs to start their breakfast.
One after the other, the ORC members woke up and joined Koneko and Y/n. Koneko sat at the table, and Y/n was laying juicy cooked basses on plates for everyone.
Y/n distributed the plates, and each voiced a sleepy thanks.Y/n really hoped they wouldn't get displeased by the menu's lack of options. The fish from the lake nearby and the wild animals were the only source of food he had, at least for now. The ORC sat in silence, they ate their fish contently.
The clatter of cutlery against ceramic was the only sound on the table. Then, Kiba spoke up, trying to make conversation. "So, Y/n, what are the other things you have to do?"
Y/n looked up with his mouth full. "Hm?"
The way his cheeks were full made everyone on the table chuckle. His appearance resembling one of a squirrel. Koneko just stared at him, but she seemed somewhat amused. He gulps his food down and speaks again.
"Sorry... What?"
"You said yesterday that you had a lot of things to do in just a month. Can you tell me what they are?"
"Just things I'd rather not tell." Y/n said, removing fish bones from the fish meat. "Don't get me wrong, but this is my matter. I don't see any reason to put this weight in you guys' shoulders anyways."
"Oh, come on, Y/n," chimed in Akeno, who ceased her meal to talk. "Now you've got us curious. Pretty please? We can help too if you want. What can be so hard about it?"
From beside Y/n, Rias added. "Asia here said she had a great time collecting flowers on the fields with you," she gestured a hand to the blonde, who led the fork to her mouth. "And said she felt sad seeing the basket be left behind so suddenly."
