"DOM! CHEW WITH YOUR mouth closed!" Angie scolded her brother, glaring at him over the coffee table, where they sat on the floor, eating a shared pizza and watching the only film they had ever been able to agree on, Lego Batman.

It was Saturday, just around six, and Angie's mother and step-father were out on their monthly date night, meaning that Angie was tasked with looking after her brother for the night.

It had almost become somewhat of a tradition with her and her brother. Every month they would order a cheese pizza, buy some cinnamon rolls from the bakery down the road, curl up on the couch, and watch Lego Batman. Angie had tried to make the boy watch Pride and Prejudice, but he'd fallen asleep ten minutes in. He just didn't understand the beauty of hand flexes and Mr. Darcy's pining.

Dom would have to be in bed by eight (or else he'd be a grouch the next morning), so Angie would have the rest of the night to herself, to watch a romcom while she crocheted, relishing in the silence she so rarely got, living in a house with an over excited six year old.

Angie loved peace and quiet, alone time and silence were everything to her. She didn't even really need to be alone, she just needed to be at peace, which she only really felt when she was alone.

"Sorry Angie!" Dominic chirped, shutting his mouth tight. He spoke Italian, as he always did when speaking with his big sister. Red tomato sauce was smeared across his cheek, making Angie roll her eyes. Just as she was reaching across the table with a napkin, ready to clean her brother's cheek, the doorbell rang.

Angie sighed, passing the napkin to her brother instead as she stood, not bothering to pause the movie, seeing as she could pretty much recite it by heart. Lego Batman honestly was a top tier movie. "Clean your face, Dom. I'll be right back."

Dom nodded, wiping his cheek and completely missing the tomato sauce.

Angie let out a yawn, stretching her arms over her head as she headed to the front door. She had woken up at seven that morning and spent the whole day studying for her midterms, which were starting the next week. She was dreading it, but she was so beyond ready for them to just be over.

Just a week and a half, was what Angie kept reminding herself. In a week and a half, she'd be in Geneva. In a week and a half, she'd see Ollie.

As Angie pulled open the door, a confused look crossed across her face. A deliveryman stood there, holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands, beautiful white tulips which were perfectly accented with blue and yellow wildflowers.

Angie immediately assumed the flowers were for her mom. She often got flowers from clients after successfully closing a case. Angie was slightly jealous, she loved tulips. She was considering not telling her mom about them and just putting them in her room.

"Oh, hello." Angie said, accepting the flowers as the man thrust them into her arms.

"Delivery for Angie Vettel." The man said, glancing down at the paper in his hands.

Angie's jaw almost dropped. They were for her. There was only one person they could be from.

"From an..." The man squinted at the delivery paper. "Ollie Bearman."

A warmth bubbled through Angie's chest, a giddy smile spreading across her lips. She had been right. "Really?"

"That's what it says here." The deliveryman shrugged.

"I love tulips!" Angie giggled, bouncing slightly on the balls of her feet. "Thank you so much!"

With that, the deliveryman returned to the elevator, leaving Angie to reenter her home. The moment the front door shut behind her, she let out a loud squeal, spinning in a circle.
