IT HAD BEEN FOUR weeks since Ollie had last seen his girlfriend in person. School had just started again for her two weeks ago, and Ollie had been slowly getting back into the racing mindset, getting ready for the F2 season to ramp up.

Angie had been so busy that their daily FaceTime calls had gone to a few times a week. Sure, it sucked, but Ollie wasn't upset by it. He knew how stressed she was with the last semester of High School, with finalizing all her Uni applications, and preparing for her final AP exams in April and May.

When Angie texted him, asking to call, he jumped on the opportunity, even though he was supposed to be leaving for dinner with Kimi. His friend would just have to wait.

Ollie smiled as Angie's tired looking face appeared on his phone screen, obviously propped up on the wall behind the desk where she did her schoolwork.

"Hey there." Ollie greeted his girlfriend, giving her a sympathetic look. "How are the applications going?"

"Shit." Angie groaned, rubbing her eyes hard. "They're due in a week and my essay is still shit."

"I'm sure it's not."
