After a moment of calming down, Sunoo inhaled sharply before leaning away from Sunghoon's hold. He knew he had to tell Sunghoon, it wasn't fair to keep the real reason behind the whole mess hidden from someone who had dealt with the most damage out of them all. Ni-ki gently patted Sunoo's shoulder before giving it a light squeeze, encouraging him to go on. The boy used the back of his palms to wipe his tears. Sunoo, who felt like telling Sunghoon was the best thing to do, started with how he was on the phone and then kept rambling on and on about that day, adding a few apologies here and there as he talked. Sunghoon just stared at him, part of him was upset that Sunoo had been careless but the other sort of understood where he was coming from. He would have done anything also to not ruin his friend's surprise.

"I'm so sorry, I should have been attentive and responsible enough. I hope you'll ever find a place in your heart to forgive me. I didn't even think twice about the position my actions could put you in." Sunoo fought back his tears but Sunghoon softly chuckled, Ni-ki frowned and glared at Sunghoon, pissed that the boy was laughing in a situation like that. "What you did, Sun, wasn't right and I'm sure you could've been more careful. It hurts so much but I cannot control the game fate plays with us. I forgive you though," Sunghoon held Sunoo's face in his palms and then lifted it up, "Oh and the position your little mistake has put me in is being Jake and Heeseung Hyung's soulmate and I cannot thank you enough." Sunoo's eyes widened but Sunghoon only kissed his forehead and left.

Sunoo turned to Ni-ki and then blushed remembering just how close they had been earlier and the more Sunoo thought about it, the more he realized that Ni-ki didn't once push him away. Ni-ki nudged his side and then smirked, saying nothing at all. "I- it's almost time for class. We should get going." Sunoo spoke hurriedly, his mind still a jumbled mess from everything that had happened. All he needed was some sleep and then some time to go through everything all over again. He quickly walked towards the direction of his class and then found himself a seat at the back. When he saw Ni-ki enter the same class and made eye contact with him, he sighed realizing that Ni-ki was seating somewhere else. The smile on Ni-ki's face was polite and understanding, making Sunoo feel warm.
