"Do not wait for the perfect moment.
Take the moment and make it perfect "

She stood in the door way, looking out to the
small crowd. Around the fire pit they gathered. A small ornament that made the yard much more cozy."What you looking at?"
"Aunt Val! Don't scare me like that." Scarlett's heart pounds swiftly. Because she was startled? Not necessarily. It was because she didn't want to get caught staring... at him.
"So, you're a little fighter." Her Aunt loves to tease her. Just like her dad, her Aunty Val knew her as a kind humble girl. One that would never make a person worry. But, her Aunt thought that was a boring life to live.
"She was a mean girl." Scarlett continued to defend herself.
"I'm not judging. Just never thought you had it in you." Valerys smile stretched wide. "That calls for a secret celebration." She whispered pulling Scarlett.
Valery pulls two shot glasses from the cupboard and places them on the counter in front of them. Her eyes twinkle with mischief as Scarlett shakes her head, knowing she might regret it. Scarlett's eyes fallow her Aunts hand. A round cork connected to a bottle filled with white liquid came to view. Patron.
"Tequila?" Scarlett gasp.
"Can you handle?"
"Will you pick me up off the ground, later?"
Through the laughter Scarlett picks up her glass and clanks it against the other glass in her Aunts hand. On three , down it went with a loud gah after swallowing.
"Oh sweetie, I love you. I want you to know I'm always here." Her Aunt kisses her on the forehead. "Live your life."
"Thank you." Scarlett embraces her caring hug.
Live your life? Has Scarlett not been living? Has she been fallowing a pattern that society laid out? Up until now the choices she made was to please the people around her. Perfect daughter. Perfect student. Perfect person.
"Let's go join the others." Her Aunt stepped out first.
Perfect person? What does that look like? A robot? A zombie? Someone being molded to fit the criteria of the government?
Scarlett thought for a moment of what she wanted. What she really wanted. Live "her" life. What did that look like? She took a deep breath. Analyzing herself and contemplating her life was definitely a stressful predicament. She knew good grades lead to a good college fallowed by a good career. However, was it worth it if the passion isn't there?
Scarlett took another drink from the shiny bottle her Aunt left on the counter. The burn from the potent liquid somewhat eased the stress from over thinking . Her third gulp, her shoulder became light as a feather. Her mind stopped leading. Her heart....no, not her heart. Her hormones took the lead. She started to feel hot with arousal. Just the thought made her heart pump with excitement. She knew to well. She was a horny teenager and at that very moment she was happy to admit it. Because this was what she wants.
She silently walked back to her spot, sitting on the pavement just below Liam. His eyes watched her. But his mouth continued the conversation with Michael. She held her composure well. Although it was quite difficult for her, while her jeans rubbed against her arousing area every time she squeezed her legs.
