And if you depart from this earthly scene,
hearts would shatter, hopes would waver...
A flame forever extinguished,
the world would lose its sheen.

And then there would be me,
with tears in my eyes,
screaming prayers and hurling curses at the skies...
For the one who cradled my fragile forms,
would lay fragile in my arms...

Between the inconsolable mother,
the devastated father,
and a heartbroken sister,
every breath taken would be a blister...
For they would've lost more than a daughter.

With every moment,
my ears would sing with
the sounds of your laughter...
my eyes would water with
the sight of your smiles...
Every instant spent would flash like a slideshow...
Oh my dear, why did you have to go?

Now I hope with every fibre of my being,
that you know what you mean...
My comfort person, my roman empire,
For there is one thing I never wish to know,
is what life without you could have been.
