The road of hope is long and narrow

When streets are filled with muck and ash

Dull dreary days bring blurry memories

Of once before where color prevailed

War is more than broken cities

Within bears enemies more sharp

When darkness forces man against man

It makes you wonder what lies in heart

Our eyes are not the only thing that sees

They dwell on dimming color and space

But spirit ails deep, out of reach

While our body deceives, hope can free

The light eyes see is not the only shade

The silent majority hold invisible rays

Dark is only allowed by light

For the smallest passage between the darkest cave

Bows down to cracks that infiltrate

So keep your road open and see

Draw light between most stubborn beasts

For light does not end with sorrow

With light begins tomorrow
