Masochism in the name of Vulnerability

30 2 3

let me read to you - hear my voice quake

my whisper, my worry, my anger, my shake

let me read to you - watch me perform

my sayings displaying my heart worn and torn

let me read to you - lay myself bare

peel off my skin, display to your stare

let me read to you - feel the edges of my soul

fraying, betraying, broken yet whole

let me read to you - let me honestly lie

show my dishonest truths, the mirage of my eye

let me read to you - see me as I see myself

distortions, contortions, unhealthy health

let me read, let me sing, let me cry

let me bring tears to your eyes

let me peel myself open for you to dissect

let me die and leave disillusions to resurrect

Please! let me Read!

Please! let me Bleed!
