Ridiculous Joy

I catch myself thinking of you

When nights are long

I find myself dancing and humming

To an unheard song

I remember your smile

and the kindness in your eyes

How your compassion blooms

Endlessly as time

The stones of my soul rumble

When you make me laugh

My mountains slide and crumble

Over the well worn path

I find myself miraculously destroyed

then created anew

All because of the ridiculous joy

I have found in you
