(3rd Person's POV)
"Ma'am, our scouts have reported a security breach happening in Point Zero," a radio operator reported to Kang Sejeong, the young founder and CEO of KSJ Security Services.
A young woman in her late twenties, Kang Sejeong wasn't your ordinary former soldier. Rather, she participated in numerous battles overseas during her time as a UN Peacekeeping Forces member. Some of these battles almost claimed her life but eventually, she managed to survive despite fighting against all odds.
"A security breach?" she asked.
"Yes. An unidentified person has infiltrated inside the research facility and has managed to operate the experimental rift machine," the radio operator answered. "Right now, a group of small monsters have gotten out of the seam, and are attacking everyone on sight."
"Don't they have soldiers posing guard in there?" Sejeong asked.
"They have. However, the main squadron were called back to barracks after perceiving that the research facility is under Category D Status," was the abrupt reply.
"Category D, huh? They sure didn't realize the stupidity of their actions," she commented. "Are there Moles nearby?" she asked.
"Yes. The Alpha Team has been sent earlier. Estimated time of arrival is approximately ten minutes," the radio operator replied.
"Tell them to make it there in five. Otherwise, there will be no survivors in there," she ordered.
"There's no need for that, Unnie. We're already here," another call from one of the Moles replied.
"Yah, Kang Seungyeon! What the hell are you and the Special Echo Girls doing in there?" she yelled out over the comms.
"The Boss sent us here yesterday so we were already on standby ever since," Kang Seungyeon replied.
"Be careful. We don't know anything about those monsters yet," she warned.
"I know. We're going in so, smell you later, Big Sis!" Seungyeon said before ending the call.
(Half an hour later...)
"This is Moon Doggy. All hostiles cleared on Alpha Side," the leader of the Alpha Team that responded on the scene reported.
"This is Bunny. The mission is a success. I repeat, the mission is a success!" Seungyeon also reported over the comms.
"Damage Report?" she asked.
"None. Rather, all of our training for the past few months worked," Moon Doggy reported.
"No damages on our side, either due to the same reasons, Unnie," Seungyeon added. "These small humanoid monsters are tricky to the point that they even conceal weapons inside their undergarments. If I'm not mistaken, the Boss gave them the call sign, goblins," she reported.
"Just how did you kill them?" she asked curiously.
"It's either a damage on the head or chest. Mutilation also works well," Seungyeon answered. "However, due to their tricky nature, Boss told us to constantly keep our guard until we decapitate each one of them. Kinda messy, but very effective."
"How's the melee combat?" she asked.
"We mostly engaged in melee combat while our snipers took down the archers and spellcasters," Moon Doggy answered.
"Spellcasters? Seriously?" she asked, shocked.
"Yes. I saw at least two of those wielding staves and hurling fireballs at us. Fortunately, though, our shields are fireproof," the leader of Alpha Team answered.
