Snuggled up on the couch at Jungkook’s house after waking up, the two relished their coffee and iced chocolate, watching afternoon shows and sharing chaste kisses here and there.

It had been two heavenly weeks for Taehyung. Jungkook’s affection kept blossoming into something he got so effortlessly addicted to. He loved their cuddling time after sex, how he coddled him when Taehyung slept over at his house and his good morning text when he didn’t.

They didn’t have sex daily, but they still met at Jungkook’s office before work to spend time together and after work to say goodbye to each other when Taehyung didn’t stay over.

Was it crazy that he wanted to sleep at his house every night? Yes, and that was why he couldn’t muster up his courage to mention it. So he only went over when Jungkook asked him to, which was still pretty often.

Jungkook’s feelings, on the other hand, had now flooded every part of him. He was infatuated, obsessed, maybe even in love.

He let other hosts sit with him sometimes, just because he didn’t want to show to Taehyung he was ready to have an exclusive relationship. He didn’t want to pressure him, ask something from him that he wasn’t ready to give.

He didn’t initiate a conversation on the matter; he simply delighted in the time they spent together, not caring about waiting. Taehyung was worth all the wait in the world.

Jungkook pressed his lips on the side of his neck in gentle kisses, his hand tracing his side up and down smoothly, slowly. “I have to buy some clothes. Do you want to come with me for company?”

“You already have so many clothes.”

“That doesn’t matter.”

A little snort rippled out of Taehyung. “Okay, I’ll come with you. I want to buy something too.”

Jungkook smashed a kiss on his cheek, evoking an angelic giggle from him — a sound he came to love because of the magic it carried.

They retreated to Jungkook’s room to get ready and soon they were good to go. Jungkook held his hand in a caring grip along their way towards the exit, and he only released him when they arrived at his car.

Sunlight splashed through the open windows, with a refreshing breeze stirring their hair, as Jungkook drove away. “I’m curious. How come you haven’t bought your own house? This type of business gives a lot of money.”

“I thought about it many times. But I’ve gotten used to my apartment. It’s cozy.”

“So if you’re not saving up to buy a house, what are you doing with all the money you’re making?”

Taehyung hummed a ruminative sound, his lips pursing. “Nothing. I don’t have any big plans. I like my life as an employee. As your employee, actually.” He set a hand on his shoulder and glided it down in a tender caress as he presented to him one of his dazzling smiles.

Jungkook returned it, his mouth forming into a beam so easily now. “Maybe you should spend your money on eating proper food.”

Taehyung huffed at his blatant teasing. “I eat just fine. I like noodles. Is that so bad?”

“Yes, if you’re eating noodles every day.”

Taehyung aimed at him a playful moue and reverted his mind to Jungkook’s question from moments ago. “I would like to travel sometime, too.”

“Where?”

“Anywhere with a beach. I want to spend my day at the beach with a cocktail in my hand, doing nothing.”
