The warm sun shone through the hotel curtains, casting a glow on Kaya's red and puffy eyes from crying. Her inner voice had won, and broken her down, but she didn't have the time for sulking. Instead, she made her way to the bathroom and splashed her face with water. Drying off with a hand towel, she looked at herself in the mirror and licked her dry lips.

She grabbed the lipstick out of her purse, applied it on her lips, took the brow pencil, and changed her brows giving her face a new look. She grabbed her keys and purse and walked out of the room locking it behind her.

Descending the stairs, she noticed a housekeeper walking past and into the staff room. Getting Veronica her wig was one thing, getting her outfit was the next. She exited the building and took a walk in search of a hair salon or retail that sold wigs.

Kaya walked around the block and across the three bridges she saw a hair salon nearby. She approached the building and entered, observing the current customers and displayed hairstyles: natural wavy bobs, classic European cuts, and lace front wigs.

looking around she saw a black coloured wavy bob wig. Standing and looking at the wig Kaya could see how she could alter her face to become unrecognizable. She could see the textures and the natural blacks used for crafting its authenticity. Her head tilts down and her eyes drift towards the displayed price tag- €849.99.

The price was a hefty sum, but Kaya knew that to bring her character to life, she had to use her advantages. She called up an employee and asked about the wig in which the employee presented her with a variety of options. Ultimately, Kaya paid for the wig and the service to have it expertly fitted.

Kaya walks out of the salon with her new black wig perfectly fitted on her head, her brows sketched into sharp angled arches manipulating her dull expression to fierce and determined, and her lips curled up with red lipstick. Walking back towards the hotel she saw the receptionist sitting back in her chair reading a cover magazine. This was the perfect time for Kaya to try and ask for a housemaid outfit.

She knocked on the staff-only door across from the stairs. She took a few steps back as the door opened and one of the housemaids asked, "Good day miss, how may I help?"

Kaya's eyes locked in with the housemaids and then at the name tag - A. Bellucci. her eyes drifted back to Bellucci's eyes and asked, "I know this might come as an unconventional question, but don't you guys have maybe an extra pair of Maid Uniforms I could borrow?"

bellucci's brow raised and the corners of her mouth curled up forming a laugh she intended to hold. Although she failed she looked back into the staff room only to talk with her friends in Italian. Kaya could feel she was mocked and sighed feeling her fist clenching tight.

"Okay, maybe we started wrong-"

"Oh no! I am so, so sorry but... you want to borrow a uniform, it is just... look at you!"

"Shit, that stings doesn't it." His voice appeared behind Kaya.

Kaya grew irritated and cut the girl's laugh short when she took her by the throat and moved her into the room closing it behind her saying when she stopped, "Listen to me very carefully... you may be a twenty, twenty-one-something-year-old girl who is working as a maid, but you do not have the experience or the talent to do what I can do. surely I can see in those eyes that you were one of those friends who liked to drink, fuck and fail classes because mommy and daddy have money, and maybe a little secret or two... so let's try this again..." Kaya looked at her name tag and then back at her as an indication she wanted her name.

"A-Andrea"

"Andrea Bellucci, do you have an extra uniform I can borrow?"

Letting go of her throat Andrea coughed and pointed with her finger at the red lockers mounted on the walls. Kaya opened the locker and looked at the new uniforms the hotel provided them, with a bonus the hotel's logo or name wasn't on the clothing yet giving Kaya a head start. She grabbed the one in her size and before leaving the room she looked back at the housemaids and said, "Grazie mille."

Walking from the staff room up the stairs back to her room, she placed the uniform on the bed and looked at it, it wasn't like the one she bought last time; it was lightweight and crafted from a blend of silk and sea mist. The cut of the uniform had a modest neckline, with short sleeves; coloured in the same blue as the St. Marks Basilica detailed with buttons down the front which were like plucked pearls from the Adriatics and two hidden pockets that rested on her hips.

She pulled the uniforms carefully on without finessing with the wig and went over to the makeup table starting to put on her makeup to cover her distinguished features, while applying the makeup Lucas sat on the bed behind her and said, "So... did you kill her as well?"

"No... I just startled her that's all."

"For a uniform?"

"Yes, for a uniform Lucas, this is the most crucial part of the disguise."

"Okay... If I may ask, what is your plan exactly?"

Kaya turned around facing him and said, "I am going to ask around for work at a few hotels trying to find Alex or Jenna, there are only so many hotels in Venice."

"You know Venice is a tourist magnet... there is no possible way you could work through hundreds of hotels a day while you have planned to stay only for a week."

"Who said we would be staying a week?" Kaya asked pulling the drawer open and pulling out the business card she snatched from Jax.

Lucas sighed and watched as Kaya put the card back and turned back working on her makeup. Kaya knew she would find them, this was the only plan she had in mind, no backup nor an upcoming... this was plan A through to plan F.
