12- Failed Exams

Willows POV

It's been a month since the incident and i still can't remember who did it. I keep getting flashbacks. I remember not being able to breathe as if someone was putting pressure on my neck. It's been distracting me from my exams. I've completed them all and I'm waiting to get the results back.

It's a Thursday autumn night and i need to distract my self. I walk around the cold castle watch as people run around with their friends. I see Fred up ahead. I thought he was revising since he has some exams left. "Hey Fred!" I shout from down the corridor. "Oh hey Willow" He says taken of guard. "You finished revising?" I questioned. He clear his throat. "No just getting some fresh air" "oh same gets really overwhelming in the common room" I say. "Well i should get back to studying." He says quickly and leaves.

Everyone is stressed because of exams so I walk towards the black lake. It's chilly but the breeze feels nice on my face. It's only 5pm but the suns already setting. I pass a group of 5th years who have a campfire going and drinking butter beers. I sit on a picnic bench away from other people and pull out my book from my bag. I see Astoria Greengrass walk towards the forbidden forest. It's risky going in there alone. George and Lee run to my picnic bench. "Time to celebrate Willow!" Lee shouts. "Celebrate what?" I say while laughing at their stupid dance. "Last exams of course!" George says. "I thought you didn't finish until next week?" I say. "No silly our last one was today" Lee says laughing. "Anyways where's Fred thought he'd be out here with you." George asks. "No he's in his dorm studying for your exams." I say confused. "He's not in the dorm, are you imagining things Willow?" Lee says with a laugh. I must be. I take a butter beer from the cooler they brought down and drink it.

It's been a while now and im getting tired. "I'm gonna go back to my dorm now" I say. "Okay bye Willow" They say together. It's been a long day I just want to sleep.

Once I get to the common room I see Snape putting up a poster on the notice board in the common room. There was a group of slytherins behind him. The slytherin boys were the first to read it. "I got and O for outstanding!" Draco Malfoy shouted. "Me too!" Says Matteo Riddle. Once the crowd dies down I go over to check. Everyone looks at me as I reach the poster. I trail my finger down to my name. I failed. I got a P for poor. I only got 45%. No why did this happen. My father is gonna be so disappointed. Shit I need to tell him. I turn around trying to keep my tears in. Everyone's laughing at me.
