"Alpha and Luna are here," Jackson announced, the members walked inside the dungeon followed by the guards. Jungkook and Taehyung halted before Ava's cell where she was unconscious.

The omega gasped, his eyes widening at the sight. Ava's neck is slit, blood still oozing out while the healers were checking on her. Jungkook examined the scene, he was in a rage that someone other than him had attacked Ava. He needed her to get more details.

"How did this happen?" Jungkook frowned, stepping forward and inspecting the unconscious omega. The slit on her throat can be considered suicide but it was unusual for Ava to do such a mean act.

"She strangled herself with those chains clasped to her hands." Jackson pointed to her hands. "Our alpha guards have something to report to you."

"Call him." The alpha guard ran towards the Trueblood and bowed out of respect. "What certainly did happen? Was there anything unusual of her?"

"The omega was fine as every day with her usual threats but she started behaving like a maniac all of a sudden. I noticed that her eyes turned yellow, she thrashed on the floor holding her head and screamed, later her eyes turned pitch black. All of a sudden, she strangled the chains around her neck and tightened it."

"Strange," Namjoon commented. "If her eyes turned yellow, it meant her inner wolf but the pitch black?" He turned to Jungkook. "As I referred in the book, eyes turning pitch black means possession."

"But is it something like that now?" Jackson asked.

"Yes," Everyone turned to Jin who stood behind Namjoon staring at the omega. He has witnessed whatever the alpha guard has explained. "I've seen and know what this is." He replied.

Jungkook and Namjoon stared at the beta.

"Psychokinesis." Jin began, he moved to the healers and squatted to check on the omega. "A method of controlling someone's action or thought; it can be a person or an object." He checked her eyes and the bruises on her body.

"By this, the controller can do whatever he or she wishes to do with the puppet. It can be anything." The beta stood up and turned to the members. "Common traits are pitch-black eyes, maniac-like behaviour, aggressiveness and tone change and sometimes, they would have some special mark to indicate the process."

"It is practised by a certain extinct group; it is hard to practice yet if it is acquired, he or she can bring anyone to their feet."

"So you assume, Ava was a victim of this?" Jungkook asked.

"Absolutely," Jin asserted, and he showed the burnt mark on her neck. "Look at this, she has that burnt mark and, as the guard explained, the inner wolf will try to defend the intruder. That is why her eye colour changed to yellow."

"In some situations, the controller will try to leave some message. Did she say anything?" Jin asked the guard who nodded.

"Inform your alpha that this is just the beginning, and I am coming to claim what is mine."

Jungkook clenched his jaw muscle, his eyes fired with rage at this unknown enemy fighting him behind the bushes.

"Alpha," one of the healers called out. "The omega is dead."

"Jackson, Find who she is and her connections," Jungkook ordered, the alpha bowed accepting the order. "I want it on my table by evening."

"If he had killed her, Ava might have known every bit detail of him. He didn't want to risk his identity being revealed." Namjoon interjected.

The Trueblood nodded accepting the elder's words. From connecting all the links, this enemy will be the one behind the attack on him and Taehyung and even maybe the rogue attacks.
