It's been one week; a reckless week in the Blood Moon packhouse. Each day turns out more interesting with the fights between Jungkook and Blaze. Wherever the omega went, Jungkook appeared out of thin air, in the kitchen, living room, garden, packed ground, and market; the only place left behind was the omega's bathroom.

Blaze was fed up with Trueblood's presence, the flash of his face was putting him on edge. The alpha tagged along like a lost puppy, he didn't fail to notice the elder's subtle approach to staying by his side, apologizing, striking up a conversation or finding the chance to hold him.

The packhouse members watched the daily antics with a mix of amusement and exasperation. It was like living in a sitcom, with the alpha and omega as the main stars.

One morning, Blaze stormed into the kitchen, muttering under his breath. Jungkook, predictably, was already there, sipping on his coffee with a smug smile.

"Good morning, Blaze," Jungkook greeted, his eyes twinkling with mischief. Unknown to him, his scent spiked up at the view of his husband.

Blaze glared at him. "Why are you always here before me? Do you sleep here or something?" He scrunched his nose at the overwhelming aroma of pine and cedarwood.

Jungkook shrugged, grinning. "Maybe I just have good timing. Or maybe I like seeing your grumpy morning face."

Blaze rolled his eyes, grabbing a mug and filling it with milk. "You're insufferable."

Jungkook leaned against the counter, watching him. "And yet, here you are, having a drink with me. It's almost like you enjoy my company." The alpha teased.

Blaze went silent for a second. It was a partial truth; Being newly mated, the urge to cling and bask in his alpha's embrace was taunting him. Despite hating the Trueblood, his presence and the purposely releasing pheromones calmed his nerves. His tail would wag involuntarily and of course, he wouldn't let the elder know it.

The omega snorted. "Don't flatter yourself. I'm just trying to get through the day without strangling you." he sipped the milk.

"Is that a challenge?" Jungkook teased, stepping closer.

"No, it's a warning," The omega sternly voiced concentrating on drinking. "So stay away."

"Noted," Jungkook chuckled, but he wouldn't let the chance slip his hands. "By now you must be aware that I wouldn't back way easily."

Blaze set the mug down, shutting his eyes. "Why do you keep following me around-" he swiftly turned to face the Trueblood, his breath halted in his throat. Jungkook was standing much closer than he had anticipated, their faces inches apart, his sensitive receptors relished the scent surrounding him. "Jungkook?" he rasped completing the question.

Jungkook's eyes locked with Blaze, they held warmth and love for his omega in front of him. His heart sped as he inhaled the sweetness of the strawberries and chocolate, he badly wanted to snuggle into the younger's neck, pepper the mate mark with kisses, give pretty hickeys and melt in his husband's arms.

"Because you are my omega," The words rolled out as a genuine whisper, and the alpha placed hands on either side of the omega, trapping between him and the counter. His words flipped the poor heart of the omega.

"And, I can't help wanting to be near you." Blaze's breath hitched. "It takes everything in me not to hold you, hug you and kiss you, my patience is at bay. Every time you walk away, my heart crumbles into pieces. At least, I want to keep it alive by staying near you."

"You can't do that," Blaze's eyes drop to the elder's Adam apple which bobbed, his fingers itched to touch it. "It's...it's annoying."

Jungkook noticed the omega's gaze but let him. "Is it annoying? or are you scared to admit that you like me having around?"
