Well, that's how it ended. It seemed quite rushed and so so but that's where it went.
In all of my characters, I liked Jade Damon the most.
Well, after the break-up with Sam, she wallowed in her pain but found love later on with Professor Hersh! She was mentioned on the earlier chapters once or twice. In fact that scene in the last chapter of her rushing to go was because she was meeting Professor Hersh at the University. She was just there to buy them coffee and then voilà! she saw Sam.
She still do have a bit of feeling left for Sam but she knew by the sight of her that Sam had already found where she truly belongs. The scene where Jade says, "almost radiant like the sun" was the hint. And Jade too have someone in her heart, and she knew that for whatever reason she thought that she belonged to Professor Hersh.
So there you go!
Well. 'Twas a good ol' happy ending.
