Sensei Silver had invited the board of the Sekai Taikai to watch them and see if Cobra Kai could enter the national tournament. It was the perfect distraction from everything going on. That is, until the senseis at Miyagi-Fang crashed the party to pitch the idea that their dojo should be included too. Alora was shocked by the audacity. Nevertheless, their plan worked and the Sekai Taikai members evaluated both dojos. The problem was, they liked both of the dojos and decided the entry for the tournament would be decided by direct competition between the two dojos. The boys would have a match and so would the girls.

Alora was ecstatic. If this went her way, she'd have her rematch with Sam and she would finally get to tear her down a peg. But all of her enthusiasm faded into deep despair once she heard the date of the match.

"What?" she blinked at Tian. She couldn't have heard him correctly.

"This Thursday at five o'clock," Tian repeated, furrowing his eyebrows.

"No," she checked her calendar. "No, no, no."

"Why? What's wrong?" Tian asked, now concerned at her behavior.

Alora made a loud noise of frustration, dragging her hand across her face. "I have therapy at the same time. It's mandatory and I already missed one session," she shook her head, holding it in her hands. "If I skip it, they'll throw me back in juvie. I can't go to the match."

Tian's expression turned unreadable. It was silent for a moment as they both took in the information. Once again, Alora was cursing all of her issues and bad decisions. She was also cursing her therapist because she would have to tell her everything that had happened the past week too and she was not looking forward to that. Slowly, he put a hand on her shoulder.

"It's alright. Tory's got it." Alora resisted an eye roll at the girl's name. "Silver and Kim will understand. Don't worry about it. You'll get your chance to fight her again."

"When?" Alora huffed irritably.

"The time will come."

"We have to prepare to fight. This is bigger than the All-Valley. Much bigger. So we need our best," Sensei Silver announced. His eyes fell on Alora who bit the side of her cheek, her body igniting with frustration at the subtle reminder that she couldn't fight. He let his gaze sweep over the rest of the room before he settled his gaze on Tory. "Nichols. Looks like you're gonna have a rematch against Larusso. You ready?"

"Yes, Sensei," she nodded, meeting his gaze. He continued walking till he stopped in front of Kenny.

"Payne. Ready to take on whomever they pick as their top fighter?" Alora knew he was one of their hardest workers and strongest fighters and every time she looked at him she just saw another version of herself. A shy innocent kid turned into an angry, violent one. She hadn't been spending as much time with him as she should've but she just couldn't bring herself to face what she'd helped to create.

"Yes, Sensei," Kenny responded, his voice thick with resolution.

"You better be. Because the fate of this dojo rests in your fists," Sensei Silver leveled him with a serious look.

Thursday came quick and Miyagi-Fang arrived at the flagship dojo for the match. Alora, however, was twenty minutes away sitting on a couch, trapped in a badly decorated room. Her absence was fortunate for Sam but unfortunate for everyone else. She tapped her foot on the floor impatiently as she waited for Dr Johnson to come in. Eventually, the door opened and Dr Johnson came inside, hugging that same infuriating clipboard to her chest.

"It's been a minute. You know, seeing as you skipped our last session," Greta gave her a look, sitting down in her chair across from Alora. "You gonna tell me what that was all about?"
