Pete's pov ~

I was reading some weird book that I found in his cabinet when he returned. It is wasn't like I was engrossed in reading my mind was running in deep thoughts while I tried to read the content of the book.

I was a little startled when I looked at him the way he kept staring at me was strange. The look was so unlike of what I expected. Well I am having my doubts is he really that cruel because his actions prove contrary. When we caught people in Pattaya who tried to harm Khun Vayu the heir we treated them much worse. What is heard was that Minor family has the cruelest ways of torture.

Though here I see the leader standing infront of me , like a usual man who came back home. A little tired and exhaust guess what he must have had to deal with something that made him look like this. Though he still looked handsome.

My thoughts were interrupted by Phi 'Joe and I was reminded of what was supposed to happen. Vegas walked to me and unlocked me. Though the chain was off both my hands were stuck together in the handcuff.

I walked behind Khun Vegas and Phi 'Joe while several bodyguards surrounded us. This was the first time I was clearly looking at the mansion and I can't deny the fact that it's the most beautiful house I have ever seen. It's well maintained has a tinch of late 80's architecture.

I was brought in a dark room with a huge projector. I was made to sit on a single chair in the centre. Khun Vegas stood behind me. While phi Joe walked towards his laptop and turned on the projection and the very first image was displayed on the screen.

I didn't know his name but I have come across him in some party I guess his face looks familiar. Like I had planned I said "no".

One after the other several images were displayed I didn't know most of them. Some I did and most of them just appeared familiar. In these past to years I have been in a lot of meetings and parties with Khun Vayu that made me come across a lot of influential people.

Finally the screen flashed with a picture of Khun korn sitting with Khun kinn. The cold aura both of them exuded was enough to make people weak in their limbs.

"Pete is it then?", Vegas asked I didn't realise when he walked from my behind and now was standing facing me. I looked up at him and refused with just a sideway nod.

"Pete don't lie", he moved even closer warning me with his gaze. I had to keep calm while my heart started beating so loud in my ears. I again refused with a nod not able to form any words when he's this close.

He walked away in frustration and pulled his hair behind. He was clearly annoyed on not receiving the reply he expected. That means Vegas does have doubts that it's no one else but his own uncle who's trying to kilk him. For a while I felt hurt for him the only elder left in his family is trying to sabotage him and kill him for business benefits.

I was keenly noticing all his actions when he suddenly walked towards me and caught my chin in a tight grip.

"Ahhh", a painful groan left my mouth as he pressed his palm so hard on my chin that I had doubts that he would probably crush my bones. After a little while he loosened a bit and leaned low coming eye to eye level with me.

"Pete I clearly saw the change in your expression so stop fucking lying to me",he was so agressive at this point that it made me feel like my death is near. I could see the veins bulging on his forehead and neck.

It took me a few seconds to gain my composure. "My expressions changed because I know who he is but I can tell it's not him who ordered me ", I lied to him again though every cell in my body screamed for me to tell the truth. I can't keep changing my side that would be the most stupid thing to do. I need to stand my ground. I doubt if uttter the truth they won't just harm me but my grandmother too. Thithiphom family knows about my grandmother very well I do trust them but their methods to draw what they desire can be damn filthy. So the best is not to betray them till I don't have my grandmother away from their reach.
