Nayla's POV

It was my last day in LA before heading back to London. Billie had a big interview scheduled, something that had been on her calendar for months. We were having breakfast when her phone buzzed with a notification. She picked it up, her brow furrowing slightly as she read the message.

"It's from my label," she said, looking up at me with a curious expression. "They think it would be great if you joined me for the interview today. As a surprise guest. They want the public to get to know you better."

My heart skipped a beat, a mix of excitement and nerves flooding me. "Me? In the interview? I don't know, Billie... I've never done anything like that before. What if I mess up?"

Billie reached across the table, taking my hand in hers. "You won't mess up. You're amazing, and people will love you. Plus, I'll be right there with you. We'll do it together."

I took a deep breath, considering her words. The idea of being in the spotlight was daunting, but the thought of sharing this experience with Billie was comforting. "Okay," I said finally, squeezing her hand. "I'll do it. For you."

Billie's face lit up with a radiant smile. "That's my girl. It'll be fun, I promise."

The rest of the morning passed in a blur as we got ready for the interview. Billie reassured me constantly, her calm demeanor helping to ease my nerves. When we arrived at the studio, the crew welcomed us warmly, making me feel a bit more at ease.

The interviewer, a friendly woman named Sarah, greeted us with a warm smile. "Billie, it's great to see you again. And Nayla, welcome! We're so excited to have you here today."

"Thank you," I said, managing a smile. "I'm excited to be here."

We settled into our seats, the cameras and lights around us making my heart race. Billie noticed my apprehension and gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. "Just be yourself," she whispered. "You'll do great."

The interview began with the usual questions about Billie's music, her inspirations, and her upcoming projects. She answered with her characteristic charm and authenticity, making everyone in the room feel at ease.

Then, Sarah turned her attention to me. "So, Nayla, how do you manage a long-distance relationship with Billie? It must be challenging."

I took a deep breath, feeling the warmth of Billie's gaze on me. "It's definitely not easy," I said honestly. "But we make it work by prioritizing communication and making time for each other. We video call as often as we can, and Billie plans visits to spend quality time together. It requires a lot of effort, but it's worth it because we love each other and are committed to making it work."

Sarah nodded, her smile encouraging. "That's wonderful to hear. And how do you handle the public attention that comes with dating a celebrity?"

I glanced at Billie, who gave me a subtle nod. "It was overwhelming at first," I admitted. "But I've learned to take it in stride. Billie's always there to guide me and remind me to stay true to myself. It's not always easy, but it's worth it."

The interview continued with a mix of light-hearted questions and deeper, more personal ones. Billie and I shared stories about our time together, the challenges we faced, and the joys of our relationship. The more we talked, the more relaxed I felt, the initial nerves melting away.

Then Sarah shifted the tone slightly, her gaze focusing more intently on me. "Nayla, some people might say that being in a relationship with someone as famous as Billie is more about the lifestyle and less about genuine connection. How do you respond to that?"
