The group had been walking for a while, feeling the creeps as they continued to explore this strange place underneath the statue. It left everybody feeling a little on edge.

"Where did Sakakura and Munakata run off to?" Tengan wondered outloud, realizing he hadn't heard an order from Munakata or a string of curses from Sakakura in a while.

"Yeah that, I noticed they stayed back a while ago but I thought they'd be back with us by now," Kizakura spoke up.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Pekoyama questioned.

"Didn't wanna worry anybody. Like I said, I figured they'd be back now," Kizakura replied.

"It's possible they're off investigating something. Young men like to think they know everything. It's anybody's guess as to what they're up to," Tengan said.

"Hey Tsumiki, what happened to them? You have any idea?" Kizakura asked, narrowing his eyes at the trembling girl.

"H-Huh?" Tsumiki gave him a confused look.

"You disappeared first but you reappeared. They're still missing. You have any idea where they're at?" Kizakura started becoming suspicious. He wasn't as stupid as he seemed.

"O-Oh I noticed s-something odd and w-wanted to look at it. I-It was nothing b-but t-they wanted to keep looking..." Tsumiki stammered, playing with her nails nervously.

"I call bullshit," Tengan stopped.

"H-huh???" Tsumiki's eyes were wide.

"If it was truly nothing then Munakata would've continued caught back up. He wouldn't have stayed behind to keep looking if there was nothing he found. Munakata and I go back, so I know how he is," Tengan pointed out.

"A-Ah I mean what I found w-was nothing but he f-found something-"

"What did he find?"

"I'm not sure..."

"If you were with accompanying the mortal then would you not have at least seen what he had uncovered? You'd surely have a description of what he had have unearthed," Tanaka said.

"Um... I..." Tsumiki realized she had been caught in a lie. She feigned a fall in a sorry attempt to buy herself more time. "Ah! I'm sorry!" She cried as she fell into Nidai in a strangely revealing position, as always.

"How does a person even land in a position like that? You've always ended up in the weirdest positions when falling," Pekoyama said.

"Please d-don't remind meee," Tsumiki begged.

"If I had to guess I'd say that fall was staged.   It's not natural for a person to fall like that. If I didn't know better, I'd say you're trying to hide what really happened to Sakakura and Munakata," Tengan said.

"Huh? I-I honestly don't know where t-they went..." Tsumiki continued to lie. Junko would not be pleased if she let them destroy this wonderful, addictive feeling of despair that they had been brewing for so long.

"Surely you'd have some clue!" Nidai said.

"Something smells fishy here!" Owari agreed. "Oh man now I'm hungry for some meat."

"NOW'S NOT THE TIME TO BE HUNGRY!" Nidai shouted.

"Kizakura, stay with the students. I'm going back to look for Munakata and Sakakura," Tengan decided.

Instantly, everybody felt as though everything was going wrong. Many questions floated around everybody's heads. Where did Sakakura and Munakata go? Where is the exit? How long have they been inside this creepy place? Where do they go from here? The worst part was that nobody seemed to have an answer.
