"What the hell is this?" Sakakura asked as they stepped out of the elevator. It appeared that his suspicion that it was a death trap was correct.

"I'm unsure," Munakata replied.

Suddenly, a voice sounded over the intercom. "UPUPUPU! IF IT ISN'T KYOSUKE MUNAKATA AND HIS KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR!" Enoshima shouted.

"Ah shit," Sakakura grumbled. This was not going to end well and he already knew it.

"Let's give a big cheer to celebrate the very first execution game! Yay!" Enoshima announced excitedly, as though she was a sports announcer.

"Execution?" Munakata somehow managed to become even more pale.

"God damn it, I knew this was a trap!" Sakakura shouted. Munakata turned to see if there was a way to go back up using the elevator, but quickly realized that they were, in fact, trapped.

"Awww feeling despair already? Does your prince charming have to rescue you from your despair?" Enoshima taunted.

"Fuck you and your despair, you can shove it all up your ass," Sakakura hissed as he began to approach the exit.

"Aw, you're so vulgar. Maybe Kyosuke Munakata is the one feeling despair when he learns that his best friend, Juzo Sakakura is in love with him big time. Oops!  Did I just accidentally out the chief of security for being homosexual? My bad!" Enoshima said. She expected Munakata to react poorly, but to her surprise, he had no sort of reaction. In fact, he gave no acknowledgement to it, because he already knew and he didn't mind.

With no choice but to reach for the exit, Sakakura and Munakata are forced to experience the sick and twisted thing that Enoshima had called a game. Both were forced to bear injuries, as they couldn't dodge all the sharp obstacles coming their way. Sakakura took most of the hits, but given his mass he was able to keep moving forward relatively easily.

The students fearfully watched the broadcast, feeling as though they were all unable to look away. Even Jin Kirigiri himself watched in horror, feeling as though somebody had superglued him to his chair, forced to watch his coworkers go through the torture.

Tengan's group, being blissfully unaware of the broadcast, began to approach the elevator leading to the death trap. Meanwhile Kizakura's group, discovered the room that Enoshima had intended for the 78th class to watch their classmate be executed in, having opted to look around at everything else before checking the elevator shaft. They too, were in a trance that was impossible to snap out of.

"Doesn't it give you soooo much despair to know a big scary man is pining after to you! He could soooo easily take advantage of you, y'know Kyosuke," Enoshima said, trying to cause Munakata to become distrustful.

"Leave my name out of your mouth," Munakata hissed. "Mark my words, we will eliminate despair."

Both men proceeded through the "game", trying their best to ignore Enoshima's taunts as arrows and knives sliced the skin. It was especially difficult for Sakakura, who kept cursing out Enoshima until Munakata demanded that he pay her no mind. Needless to say, it was extremely difficult for Sakakura to resist the urge to hurl curses and threats at her.

"Thank god," Sakakura huffed as he swung open the exit door.

Munakata noticed something odd about the exit and held his arm out to prevent Sakakura from moving forward. He asked, "How far can you jump?"

Sakakura just gave him a confused look as he answered, "Not particularly far, why?"

"Let me go through first," Munakata said then added "trust me."
