Things had started getting out of hand in Towa City. In the beginning of destroying the Monokumas, Haiji had insisted that Sakakura be delicate when removing the parts, in hopes that they could reuse the expensive pieces. Sakakura would have preferred to just destroy the robots because carefully removing their parts was painstaking and took a lot of time. They had spent a few hours trying to destroy the Monokumas while recovering the parts. Haiji had called in a bunch of workers, as well as his father, to help speed up the process.

The plan backfired when Monaca Towa managed to activate the Monokumas using a remote control. The Monokumas they had been working on unfortunately had enough parts inside them that they were able to attack. Sakakura ended up with a nasty, large set of scratches going down the left side of his face, barely missing his eye. At that point, they had to scrap the idea of reusing parts from the hoard of Monokumas and they had to destroy them. Sakakura was quick to break the Monokuma that had attacked him, in spite of recieving no order to do so.

Sakakura heard many of the workers scream as the Monokumas shredded them and tore them apart, blood pooling on the floor and limbs scattered about. Things got ugly really quickly. Sakakura tried to save a few of the workers but it seemed they would end up getting themselves killed only a few minutes after he saved them.

Sakakura was out of breath after fighting so many in the hoard. He looked up after slumping down on the floor to catch his breath, just as Haiji's father ended up getting torn and eaten by one of the killer robots. Cops had arrived by that point to try and handle the situation, but most of their efforts proved to be futile. Haiji was screaming not too far from his father's body. Sakakura stood up.

Haiji was surrounded by Monokumas. For lack of better phrasing, he was undeniably fucked.

"Sakakura!" Haiji called out to him, "You're gonna help me, right?"

Sakakura stared him in the eyes and wondered if it really was worth it to save this piece of human garbage.

"C'mon help me!" Haiji shouted as the bears inched closer.

Sakakura didn't move a muscle, he only observed as the robots were closing in.

"Oh I see, this is a tactic to get somethin' isn't it," Haiji laughed, "I've got money. How much you want in exchange for helping me? A thousand? Two thousand?" Sakakura made up his mind.

Sakakura scoffed. He said as he turned and began to walk away, "I'm not savin' your sorry ass."

"Wait! Hold on! You asshole! You're going to just let me die? How selfish are you?!" Haiji yelled at him.

Sakakura stopped, "I don't like selfish people who are only worried about their own asses. You only started to freak out when you realized you were in danger. You didn't even bother to try and help the workers who were killed because of your stupidity. You are not worth saving."

Sakakura heard Haiji's screams as the Monokumas ripped him limb by limb and then the silence, nothing but the sound of clanking metal in the distance, after his final scream. The police force was desperately working to try and stop the destruction the Monokumas were causing. Of course, that was easier said than done.

Sakakura knew he wouldn't be able to keep up his efforts to destroy the bears forever. He was beginning to feel as though he had been fighting for days. He saved a few people but had to watch many of them perish as well.

He lost his balance again, just like before. He was too overwhelmed. Flashbacks slappeed in the face. The moment Enoshima had blackmailed him came resurfacing out of nowhere. To make matters worse, he was being surrounded by a creeping ring of Monokumas, just like Haiji had been. Then it started pouring heavy rain all of a sudden.
