Victoria, Harry, Ron, and Hermione (along with some other DA members) have been scouting for a place to practice spells. Meanwhile, Fred and Victoria haven't been talking. At all. But, the Quidditch game against Slytherin had now arrived. Thankfully, Angela was able to reason with Umbridge to have the Gryffindor team debut again.

"Hurry up," Angela, the new Quidditch Captain, called out in the Gryffindor common room. "Eat a big breakfast quickly! Not too much, though."

Katie Bell's face scrunched, confused. "So... we should only eat a little?"

"No, just make sure to get enough protein," Angela responded as the Twins came down.

At the same time, Victoria came down, wearing her Quidditch robes. Angela saw her and excused herself from the girl group.

"Hey, Victoria, let's have a chat," Angela said, pulling her aside.

Puzzled, Victoria agreed and sat on the couch. Then she realized what Angela wanted to talk about.

"Look, Angela," Victoria said flatly. "I'll be fine. I promise. I won't let the game affect me."

Angela still looked concerned.

"Angela," Victoria said sternly. "I. Will. Be. Fine. Nothing's gonna happen."

Angela gave in and nodded.

"And by the way," Victoria said, getting her attention. "Relax. You're starting to become like Wood."

Angela grinned and she made everyone stand in a single-file line. Victoria grabbed her broom (whichever model you choose) and stood behind Angela.

"Come on, team!" Angela whistled and yelled.

Angela made them march through the halls into the Great Hall to eat before heading to the field. Victoria ate a toast and drank a glass of water before heading out to the field. After everyone was done eating, Angela walked them out of the Great Hall. Slytherins walked past them with smug looks on their faces as they headed into the Great Hall.

"Bet you won't be able to keep your head in the game long enough to win, Y/L/N," Malfoy whispered when he walked past Victoria.

"Don't be too sure, Malfoy," said with an innocent smile. "After all, you were the one who fell off your broom."

Draco scowled and swished his head in the other direction, joining his team.

"Nice one," George said, snickering.

"Come on, Gryffindors," Angela yelled. "We've got fifteen until the game starts!"

Even with fifteen minutes left to spare, the stadium was almost full. Victoria could see Hermione and Ginny claiming their spots. Lee was getting ready for a piece of the spotlight. He cleared his throat in the megaphone.

"Mic check, mic check-"

There was a loud screeching that interrupted Lee and rang in everyone's ears.

"Lee!" McGonagall yelled.

"Sorry!" he apologized, trying to move away from her reach so that she wouldn't take away the megaphone.

Victoria grinned at the sight of her friends' ridiculousness.

"Victoria, is your hand still having a bad rash?" Angela asked her when they walked into the main locker room.

Fred poked his head up, curious.

"Yeah, it's getting pretty bad. I'll have Madam Pomfrey look at it later," Victoria lied.
