[victoria's pov]
I've been contemplating on telling Fred about the death eater from the department of mysteries from last school year–Matt. But nothing had happened. It was a heavy infatuation, but I also remembered that I had bumped into him before: when I was practising my apparition at Grimmauld place last winter.
Dumbledore had also told me to not tell anyone in the Order of the Phoenix, but Fred wasn't just any ordinary member. He was my other half so what was I to do?
I stayed quiet when we arrived at the Burrow. I would've gone alone, but Mr. Weasley–Arthur–insisted that the twins come along. I planned to stay until the end of the summer so I could keep Ginny company, but Fred and George would be returning to their shop to continue their business. Although they didn't like the idea, their mother thought it would be best since I was going to be in and out at the ministry for my training as well.
The Burrow seemed to have changed since I last saw it–there was more furniture, as Remus, Tonks, and the rest of the order visited often. That was mostly because of Sirius' entire ordeal of "who now owns Grimmauld place" was still in play.
"Victoria!" Ginny exclaimed and pulled me tightly for a hug as soon as she came down the stairs.
We arrived early in the morning with Mr. Weasley, avoiding the floo network because the order suspected it was being watched.
As Ginny and I broke our hug, we saw Hermione at the top of the stairs and I waved with a smile. She smiled kindly and waved before saying, "How're you coming along?"
"Never better, just missing Dumbledore's Army a bit."
She frowned slightly. "Yes, Ginny, Ron, and I were just talking about it. Have you still got your coin?"
I nodded and took it from my pocket. "Carry it everywhere with me."
Just as Fred carried the photo of him and I together on the couch from a few years ago in his own wallet. Mrs. Weasley appeared from around the corner and I hugged her with a smile as she said, "Thank Merlin!"
"For what?" I asked.
"For blessing me with more company," Mrs. Weasley said before rushing off to tend to twins.
Ginny pulled me aside. "She really means thank Merlin you're here because she hasn't been able to avoid Phlegm."
"Who's-"
"Viktor-ee-ah!" Fluer's beautiful accent said as she joined us from the back door. "Bill said 'e 'eren't expec-ting you 'till night'fall!"
"Change of plans," I smiled as she flowed away.
"God, she's irritating me with each day that goes by!" Ginny said under her breath with frustration. Even Hermione agreed with a light nod, which surprised me.
"She's to be your sister in law," I said with a raised brow.
"I don't care, just please hurry up and marry Fred so I have a sister-in-law that I actually love," Ginny begged, making Hermione and I grin.
"Did I just hear you're getting married to Fred?" a familiar voice said.
I turned around and came face to face with my rugged looking brother, Magnus. Immediately I leapt into his arms and hugged him happily. I was expecting him to be in Romania with Charlie–who was a few steps behind with the twins.
"Who's getting married?" the twins chorused.
Charlie laughed when no one answered them as I was overwhelmed with surprise.
