Religious Shame

L growing up in a religious household has felt the weight of eternal life within religion, unfortunately L dies multiple times multiple ways. Stuck in loop of eternal life met with eternal death creates a negative affect when it comes to believing in religion.

'Parable of the Sower' was a difficult theme for L to swallow, mostly considering Mother and Father shoving it down her throat. 


Seed

Pay attention to the seed,

a symbol of life and its choices.

Baked, broken, seed.

Are you upset by how crunchy the soil is?

Does it tear you apart to see the path so unspoiled but not the seedling?

I cannot help but stop and look at the barren, suckling soil.

Now infertile is just the thing,

It gets me wondering if the wonderful sower is dead.

God has the proper planning.

Never forget the sower and their smallest proper planting.


"If god has the proper planning, why am I still here? " L thinks to herself. 

She cannot imagine a God all knowing would forget her or is this her punishment? 

But punishment for what?..
