Rodrick crossed his arms and leaned against the doorway, a cocky smile on his face. "Scared?"
Y/N rolled her eyes and mirrored him. "Maybe I am. After all, why would I want to be an accomplice to a potential DWI?"
Rodrick's eyes went blank, the type of stare you muster only when you can't understand a word someone said.
"Am I using big words or something?" Y/N hissed.
"No, I understand."
"Then what's a DWI?"
His eyes rolled blank again; he blinked repeatedly before answering. "Driving while uninsuredddd?"
"Wrong."
"Driving while influenced?"
"Wrong."
"Driving—"
"How the hell did you manage to get your permit?" Y/N cut in before he could finish. There was no fucking way in hell, that she'd get in a vehicle with him behind the wheel.
"If you're so smart, then what is it?"
"Driving while intoxicated."
His lips pressed into a thin line, "I knew that."
"Yuh-huh."
"Whatever, smarty pants." Rodrick brushed her off. "If you're so worried about breaking the law, why would you smoke with me?"
Y/N was on her last straw. "Forget the snacks, forget the gas station." She rounded on him, closing the space between them. "Get out of my way."
"Or what?"
"I'll drag you out of my way, high or not."
"Try it."
