"I hope your right James. I can't bare to lose anyone else, especially you because you are the only brother I have." Alison told her brother, as she started to cry again letting Chris take the phone and talk to James before hanging up. "I love you son, just be careful and stay safe. Please be safe." With that Chris hung up the phone, holding his daughter as she cried in his arms.

"I love you too dad. I will try my best." James sighed softly running a hand through his hair again, after his dad hung up the phone. Before tossing it onto his bed and getting up off his bed, hearing a knock at his bedroom door. He opened it to revel a very tired, exhausted and sad looking Shauna. He furrowed his brows, as he stepped aside to let her in only to be tackled in a hug almost falling backwards to the floor.

"Easy doll. I gotcha. I gotcha." James said, gently cradling the back of her head as he held her. Feeling her body shaking, as she started to cry. Making James wonder what the heck she had a nightmare about, since usually she wouldn't wake up like this unless it was something to do with those she loved.

James gently shushed her, as he pulled back enough to pick her up by her hips, carrying her over to his bed where he laid there with her. Trying to comfort her, waiting for her to calm down enough to tell him what had happened. Since that usually helped her, since she usually has a hard time expressing/explaining how she's feeling. Once she was calm enough though, he listened to her letting her explain everything to him.

"I saw a hunter kill you in front of me. Your grandfather was there, thinking it was funny as he made me watch them kill you. I tried to fight, yell, scream. But nothing I did worked, I was forced to watch, with nothing I could do to stop it. I was afraid that it was real, that I had lost you. But I knew that it wasn't real, it couldn't have been but it felt like it was real." She gently traced patterns on his clothed chest, trying to detract herself for the morbid thoughts that were plaguing her. From what she had seen in her nightmare.

She felt James arms, gently rubbing her back and cradling her head gently feeling his lips pressing to the top of her head gently. "It wasn't real babe, I know that it feels real and looks real but it wasn't. I won't ever let that nightmares become a reality, nor would my dad ever let his dad Gerard touch me again. I'm not letting the hunters take me from you, or you from me. I will do whatever it takes to keep you safe, and the hunters can't hurt me so easily."

She scoffed gently at his words, he was definitely stubborn and protective which was a good thing. "I know J, but still I want you to promise me that you'll be careful and try not to but heads with hunters again. Okay? I don't want to see you hurt like I did today. That was to much way to much."

"I promise you I will try and behave myself. As long as they don't come for me or those I love, I won't butt heads with them. You need to sleep." James said, seeing how tired she was and looked, so he laid down completely on his back holding her close to him. Feeling her get comfortable, before long he heard soft snores escaping her. Letting him know that she had indeed fallen back asleep.

The next morning, James woke up to Shauna not in bed. He sat up looking around the room, seeing the bathroom door left cracked with the light off. He pulled the covers back, getting out of bed to go find his fiancé to see where she was at. He walked down stairs, hearing Shauna giggling and laughing.

James walked down to the kitchen, seeing Shauna sitting at the island with his mom, looking at wedding venues and photos of him from when he was young. "He was definitely a cute boy back then. Man he really did become quite the beautiful man." He heard his mate say, making him smile about to say something when his mom caught him standing there listening to the two of them.
