Amelia smiled gently patting her back, happy that she could help her son and daughter-in-law. Not knowing that after the wedding and helping him, would be the last time that she saw him for a long while. "She's definitely a keeper." She mouthed to her son, seeing him chuckling softly with a loving smile on his face. It made her very happy to see her son happy. Knowing that he was going to be alright and well taken care of, with the caring loving mate he has.
Time skip to training, before the big day.
James was in the woods training with his mom, he was following her moves and tactics. He was doing til she managed to punch his face hard, making him stumble backwards before managing to catch himself. He let out a growl feeling his eyes glowing white, along with his fangs starting to poke out. "James focus son. Don't let your anger have control of you. Fight it. You have to learn how to control it and keep it under control. Now focus. You can do it. I know you can."
He shook his head, taking a deep breath trying to control. "James breathe. Breathe." He heard his mate telling him through their mate link, he looked over at her calming his breathing feeling himself starting to relax. Before continuing to train with his mom, keeping good control over his wolf side and keeping it contained. He was able to stay focused, til his mom and him shifted into their wolf forms, training with each other while still being gentle.
"I think that's enough for today. You've done good son. You already pretty much have control over it again." James was relieved to hear his mom saying that, he watched his mom walk away in wolf form to go change. While he looked down at his mate, watching her as she walked over to him gently sitting her hand on his left wolf one.
"You've done good my love. I'm very proud of you James, I love you so much." He heard her say to him, as she leaned forward gently kissing his hand. Making his wolf ears relax, as his body started to relax too. He felt his body returning to normal, as his mate quickly turned away holding a blanket on her back for him to take when he had changed back.
James groaned softly rubbing his arm after he had returned back to normal, he gently took the blanket from his mate and wrapped it around his lower half. Not feeling like using his left arm, with how much it was burning again and feeling like it was on fire. "Your all good to turn around doll." He said to her softly, before groaning again and looking at his arm.
His mate gently turned around, frowning at his expression of pain. "Jeez." He heard his mate say, as she pulled her hand back from his arm. "Doll?" He asked her, causing her to look up at him from her hand. "Not to alarm you James, but I think I need to look at your arm again. That is way to hot to be normal. James didn't like hearing that, as he followed his mate inside wondering what the heck was wrong with his arm again.
..........
"Your arm seems to be okay, but I'm not sure what's causing this. Wait a second. What's this." Shauna said, looking at her mates metal arm. She gently pulled at something, felt his arm jolt along with him grunting in pain. "Sorry." She told him, with a sorry look, before pulling it out. "Either I'm crazy or...someone intentionally put this there, or it was put in there before now. Either way, this shouldn't have been in there. It's a chip designed to mess, with the functions to either help something work properly. Or to mess with something to keep it from working properly."
She put the chip down, before looking around for anything else. She didn't see anything else, so she fixed his arm back up. "That should help your arm to cool off, but you should probably go take a shower after all that training."
"Thank you doll. It feels a little cool, I probably should. Before our wedding tonight. Mom said she'll take you to Lydia's to get ready. While dad and I along with the guys, and your brother get ready." James told her, even though he wanted her to stay and join him, but maybe later she would after they got married.
"Sounds good to me. I guess I'll see you tonight, we'll technically this evening but still. I guess I'll see you at the alter, and maybe I can join you later after the wedding. In a nice warm bath or shower. Yes I know what you were thinking, and I heard it all." She teased him giggling seeing him blushing, as she peaked him in the lips getting up to leave when he grabbed her hand with his right one. Standing up to kiss her on the lips, holding the blanket up with his left arm that felt a lot better now thanks to her.
"Don't be late." James heard her tell him, making him chuckle softly with his wolf eyes out. "Wouldn't dream of it doll." With that James went to get his shower, while his mom took Shauna to Lydia's to go get ready.
