Becoming stronger

Amelia watched James body relaxed and healed itself, shortly after the gas had been pocketed from his chest. She sighed softly seeing that his body was healing, she looked over at Carl thanking him again. Before cleaning up, the blood from on him with a warm damp washcloth. Happy that he was alive and safe, but she knew that Elena wouldn't let this slide. She would be back soon enough, to finish what she started.

...Mean while in the next room over...

Maria's alpha spark had worked, Shauna and the pups were alright, but Shauna felt stronger then ever before. "Thank you Maria. For saving their lives and mine." She said, knowing she owed Maria one for saving her life and the twins lives like this. "Your welcome sweetie. It's the least I could do for you and the little ones, some people never learn." Maria told her, shaking her head as she was referring to Elena who seemed to never learn her lesson.

"I know what you mean. May I ask though, why she came after me and James?" Shauna heard Maria sighing, as she looked away looking like she wanted to say something but yet couldn't. "As much as I'd like to answer that. I can't. But Amelia can." With that Maria helped her up, taking her to see Amelia and James. "Amelia didn't tell you did she?" She asked Maria quietly yet softly.
"Not the full story, no. I told her that it was better if I didn't know, the full story. All I know sweetie, is that Elena is after her for reasons. That I did not wish to know." Maria told her, obviously not wanting to talk about it or hear about it.

Making Shauna curious yet worried, that it was something drastically wrong that had happened. "Here we are." Maria said, letting her go into the room, before pulling her husband Carl out of the room. Allowing Shauna to be in there with her husband James, and ask Amelia what she needed too. "Thank you Maria and Carl." Amelia said, watching both of them leave before smiling softly at Shauna. As she went back to cleaning the blood off of James.

"How is he?" Shauna asked as she walked over to the bed, standing there gently taking his right hand in hers. Gently it gently, before looking over at Amelia. "Good. His healing kicked in rather quickly, he should be waking up after awhile. You on the on the other hand need to rest. Both you and the pups need it. Especially after all of that, which before you ask yes I know why Elena is after you both. And no I didn't kill anyone, at least not on purpose." Amelia said, continuing to clean up the blood.

"Self defense." Shauna mumbled, causing Amelia sigh softly as her smile and happiness disappeared. "Yes and no. I didn't kill in self defense, but I also killed because...they were trying to kill him, while I was pregnant with him." Amelia said, looking up at Shauna referring to James. Which caused Shauna to look at James not understanding why, unless there was something about him that Elena feared. Something that Shauna hadn't yet been told. "Because he's a powerful werewolf?" Shauna asked Amelia, only for Amelia to sigh and turn fully to face her, as she stopped cleaning the blood.

"One of the reasons yes. But the full reason, is because of him being born a hybrid werewolf. That somehow is still effected by wolves bane, stile able to die, and is not part lycan. Thanks to Elena's stupid brother, who attacked him trying to kill him. James has a bit of vampire in him." Amelia watched Shauna kinda pale out, as she stood there not saying anything.
