Mapleshade explored StarClan, if she wants to know more about her enemy she must explore the weaknesses and territory. Mapleshade heard noises, Cat chatter.

She quickly ran to the source of sound, and hid behind a bramblebush.

She peeked and saw 2 cats, deep in conversation. It was Sagewhisker and Yellowfang. Since they were medicine cats, Mapleshade knew that they perhaps knew more about StarClan then the average cat. Mapleshade listened in the conversation quietly. "FangYellow, Have you heard the legend?" Fangyellow? What type of name is that? Did Sagewhisker make a mistake? Is that a nickname? And what legend? "No, I haven't yet, WhiskerSage." Yellowfang responded. Okay, something is up with the names, Seriously! Mapleshade thought. "Well, apparently our creator is a cat we seen before. And hes a monster!" Sagewhisker mewed. Mapleshade looked at Sagewhisker. Mapleshade was fully, interested in the conversation that Yellowfang and Sagewhisker were having. From what it looks like. The names of starclan cats are reversed from the original, but what creator? StarClan cats don't have creators, they are just spirits of dead cats. So what could this even mean? FangYellow walked to the bramblebush Mapleshade was in. She sniffed the bramblebush, looking for any spies. But luckily, she didn't scent Mapleshade. She trotted back to where WhiskerSage was. "So, Do you know the creator well?" FangYellow asked. "Yes, and his name is Agony, He is a monster, a mutant! A creature that once was a cat, just like our living selves" FangYellow looked like a kit when a elder was telling a story, she was intrigued to know more. And so was Mapleshade. Mapleshade stood still. She was trying not to make any noise listening in to WhiskerSage and FangYellow's conversation. After the great battle, Mapleshade noticed something off with the StarClan cats. Mapleshade remembered when she saw Appledusk, but Appledusk acted, off. Mapleshade knew this wasn't actually his ghost, Yes, he would be mad at Mapleshade but his personality wasn't his. So now, Mapleshade is trying to figure out whats wrong with the StarClan cats. and so far, Mapleshade has figured that theres a creator named Agony, who is a mutated cat. Mapleshade figured that StarClan cats aren't actually the souls of the cats, so all of the medicine cats were only praying to imposters. Mapleshade knew, that she must tell others. "Hai!" Mapleshade spun around, it was a small kit. "What do you want?" she hissed at the kit. The kit looked upset. "I'm Mosskit! Who are you?" Mapleshade took a deep breath. "Uhm, My name is ShadeMaple.." Mosskit smiled innocently. Mapleshade heard footsteps, she saw a white she-cat with some black spots walk right behind Mosskit. "What are you doing here, Mosskit?" the she-cat asked. Mosskit smiled "What are you doing here, BerryBramble? Looking for Agony?" BerryBramble froze. "No! No! No! How do you know who that is? You shouldn't! What if there's a dark forest spy somewhere?" Mapleshade resisted the urge to laugh, as yes, there was a dark forest cat. Mosskit looked at Mapleshade and smiled. Then she instantly looked away. '' Well, lets get going, Fursnow and Starblue need you." BerryBramble mewed. BerryBramble began to walk with Mosskit, and Mapleshade looked at where FangYellow and WhiskerSage were, but they weren't there.

Mapleshade was scared. Where was FangYellow and Whiskersage? Mapleshade looked behind herself, just incase and she saw none other then FangYellow.

"What are you doing here?" FangYellow growled. Mapleshade was at loss at words. "Nothing, nothing!" FangYellow scratched Mapleshade. Mapleshade pounced on FangYellow, and dug her teeth on FangYellow's neck. Fangyellow screeched, but it was too late. Mapleshade felt the blood on her teeth more and more. The blood tasted different from alive cats. It tasted like fresh wet moss. But Mapleshade does not care. Mapleshade lifted her jaws from Fangyellow, and she noticed how deep she bit FangYellow, to the point Mapleshade sees the bone. But, the blood was violet and the bone was red, like a red plant. This was very, very off. Eventually, FangYellow faded away. Mapleshade looked the left, she could almost see the dark forest if the trees weren't blocking it.

Mapleshade grinned.

Mapleshade heard noises come from the right. It was cat chatter. She snuck between the bushes and trees, to see what conversations were going on. She crouched down and saw Tallstar, Bluestar, Crookedstar and Yellowfang's relatives. Tallstar looked around. "Okay, we got everyone. Apparently, FangYellow died, but we don't know how. So, we now must do the ritual." Mapleshade gasped.

Tallstar said some unfamiliar words, and a huge gust of wind blew after Tallstar's words. The sky went black. Mapleshade noticed that the stars of starclan became red. Mapleshade noticed a red creature stand. It only looked at Tallstar. Mapleshade looked around and saw cats confused and scared, as if they didn't notice the sky, the stars, the cat who Mapleshade assumed to be Agony, and themselves. Tallstar looked uncertain, as Agony talked to Tallstar. "Would you like for me to bring back FangYellow, Startall?" Agony asked. "Yes, Please." Agony started muttering. Some red vines floated up and formed a cat that looked like Yellowfang. The flower buds of the vines sprouted, and it was gray fur. Then, stars became to form and finally, Yellowfang or FangYellow was reborn. The sky cleared, The vines disappeared and the cat vanished. It became normal StarClan. FangYellow collapsed to the floor, and Startall helped her up. Crookedstar, on the other paw looked at Mapleshade's direction. He went to Mapleshade. As soon as he was there. he whispered Mapleshade to run, to go back. Mapleshade was surprised to hear this from a StarClan cat, but if Mapleshade is told this, then it obviously means to run. Mapleshade waited for the crowds of cats to clear, and for it to be empty. Once it was, Mapleshade ran to the border of StarClan and DarkForest. Mapleshade stood at exactly the border, so she was both at StarClan and Darkforest. Then, she walked to the dark forest. She went to go to find her camp of just herself and Maggottail. As she was walking, she discovered a puddle. She accidentally fell in it, and she fell.

She looked around. She was in a foggy, dark forest. This forest was cleaner then the Dark Forest, it was like a Shadow Clan camp, but empty. No dens, no prey. Just a forest. Mapleshade walked around, and saw a cat in the distance. She ran to the cat, and the cat was a black, fluffy she-cat. The cat hissed at Mapleshade.

"YOU! You're the cat that killed Spottedleaf! You're Mapleshade!" Mapleshade sighed. "I guess I have a lot of explain to do, don't i?"
