Backstory: Rose's unusual eyes resulted in her being called a "witch child". Her mother despised this and refused to associate herself with her own daughter. Her father, however, loved Rose and cared for her until an accident involving a wagon at the palace resulted in his untimely death. Rose's mother, refusing to care for her, abandoned the four-year-old girl on the roadside. She managed to survive another three years, even formulating a sleeping powder to use on enemies so she could escape. Master Kohga found her asleep in a banana tree and after showing that he meant her no harm, took her back to the Yiga Hideout. She is now eight and has been living with them for one year.
