Next Day

Once I woke up I brushed my teeth and washed my face.

I then went down the hall and I see my mom cooking.

"I think she's just getting up." I said and she nodded her head.

I then sat down and she brought me a plate of food.

"So there's this thing tonight."

"Hm what is it?" She asked pouring my orange juice.

"A pool party." I said and she looked at me, "And?"

"And I wanna go to it." I said.

"Whose party?"

"Wayne's." I said and she sighed and walked back to the stove.
