Luckily autumn hadn't been caught, no one really moved further with the investigation and everyone was quite happy they didn't especially Charlotte, she doesn't think she could handle losing autumn, not her - never her.
Autumn had been there and helped her with everything, if she was being truthful autumn had even stopped her nightmares, it was only sometimes, she thinks its because she knew how to respond and help but time by time autumn had stopped coming over as much.
Charlotte thinks it's her fault maybe she was just too much for people, maybe she was too much for autumn, she didn't know, she didn't want to know because she thinks if she did know the truth than maybe she wouldn't want to continue with her plan which she needed to do, she needed to continue her plan.
She wasn't sure when she was going to do it, but she was, she knew it was the only easy way out, as autumn came withdrawn from her, she never messaged her again, even when she would message her, she knew she was getting worried but she couldn't have autumn getting hurt again.
Because deep down she knows what happened to Reggie's dad - she shivered as she thought of him uncomfortably - she knows what autumn had done for her, but at the same time she couldn't help but feel guilty, autumn could've got caught yet she only cared about her.
That was something she didn't want, she didn't want people getting in trouble because she was too sensitive, too vulnerable.
